The food is brilliant. Lots of choice and very tasty. The floor is sawdust and the walls covered in momentoes from across the world. Not to put too finer point on what I mean. My last trip I sat by a old bicycle and a very ancient typewriter . Walls covered. I have had many trips here, always my first...

Only had dinner at the Stage Door. Unique experience. Nothing fancy. But good value, good food. Nice ambiance. And very friendly service Will be back, always a favorite with the locals, and with good reason.

Built when PE was established I think...Been there since I can remember and I'm not young...An experience not to be missed in PE... The friendly bar and it,s staff is a must before attending a show at the Opera House some 100 yards away...Also a drink after the show...Not a huge menu but you will find something you like...Plentiful and...

When you arrive you are met with a explosion of memorabilia. From baseball to Garfield. The floor is covered with sawdust which is worrying until you eat the food. I had the fillet steak which was melt in the mouth. Gorgeous food and very reasonable with steak, 2 veg and chips for R115 which at current exchange rates comes in...

The Stage Door restaurant and bar is an old favourite of mine. Slightly hidden if you don't know where to find it, but located in the Phoenix hotel just below the Donkin Reserve monument. The pub and restaurant is beautifully quaint with posters and memorabilia from the 50's and later. Old dark wooden beams and interior reminiscent of an old...

Nice laid-back venue with lots of history and fantastic music on Wednesday and Friday evening. Enter the manager who probably ought to have joined the police rather than the hospitality industry. Ruined my evening. Apparently he is the nephew of the owner. Cadre deployment will ruin any business.

For many years I've loved the Stage Door venue for incredible food. I recently booked into the Phoenix Hotel for a two-night stay. What a revelation! My room was incredibly clean and comfortable. The staff at the hotel were helpful. This is a family run establishment and one feels the hands-on, personal touch while dining there or staying at the...

We were taken here for a meal whilst in P. E on holiday - fantastic atmosphere and so much memorabilia. A great evening with delicious food. King Prawns to start with were excellent, followed by steaks which were cooked to perfection. All helped down with a nice bottle of wine. Must have another holiday in P. E so we can...

Thanks to the server's good knowledge of the menu, and enthusiasm for my (unorthodox choice in this carnivore's den) request, I had a very enjoyable vegetarian meal. Two colourful vegetable portions, savoury rice, huge onion rings and the ubiquitous chips - well cooked and seasoned. My companions enjoyed their meals hugely too.

Lovely easy dinner. Great interesting place. Had a lovely fillet steak with veg and a bottle of red wine with friends. Nicely cooked. Pleasant staff. Reasonable price. All in all a good evening! Easy menu selection with limited choice. All the meals are fresh and tasty
