Checked in late - checked out early. It was comfortable for an overnight stay. Breakfast was good for a "on the go meal". A few attention to details like scrubbing the shower, fixing the kettle etc should up the standard.

Our stay was very comfortable, the room was very clean, the staff was friendly and went out of their way to assist when required. Very nice location as it was close to all amenities. Close enough to walk to the main road but far enough not to here the traffic.

Okay for a night. The dorm room was fine to sleep in but you don't need to stay there forever. The Shower was a Shower and not very luxury. I prefer the smaller hostels in this area. There are some just next to Bishops.

This would not be a place I would have chosen to stay in, but it was ok, just for a night., The room and bathroom were ok, the bed comfortable. When I checked in, I asked for the wifi code ad given the wrong one. Eventually, after trying it several times, I managed to get the correct one, but that...

Not a bad experience in general but avoid room GH 9 if possible. It has an absolute horrible smell to it and no bathroom extractor to assist with the problem. Although we booked and paid beforehand, the room was advertised for R120 per day less than what we were quoted and thus paid. We may try again next time albeit...

Nice lay out but it is not bed and breakfast as advertised. The Internet is advertised as free but the link is very weak and slow. It is very ideal for a family holiday or for friends who love cooking. The rooms are well equipped with fridge, cookers, cooking utensils, microwave, glasses, cutlery and napkins. What is just needed is to buy...

This hotel was not the Ritz by any means, but they were friendly and the room was quite large. It was quite difficult at first to find it as we were driving in Port Elisabeth for the first time, it was not exactly on the main road. The free Wifi was a bonus, although breakfast was a little disappointing. However,...

a three week stay in south africa for the world cup was the ultimate road trip- we had a blast! however bishops inn was a major disappointment. ridiculously expensive for what was basic accommodation and a poor breakfast. we expected to pay over the odds at some establishments but this was obscene. reception staff had a 'take-it-or-leave it' attitude. it...

Stayed here for 3 days (minimum time allowed) during Englands world cup visit. Paid at least 3 times what would have been the standard room rate. Too cold anyway, but pool the size of a bath, tried to charge extra for dreadful breakfast too. All the atmosphere of a morgue, would be 1 star maximum if in Europe

This place was advertised as 'luxury suites' but I stayed here 3 nights and felt ripped off for evert minute. The expensive room had no proper shower or heating and the decor was drab.
