Milkwood country cottage was our first stop on our trip on the garden route. Loraine welcomed us and led us to the gorgeous rooms that were clean, cozy, nicely decorated and comfortable. large windows and glass doors led to a beautiful garden. Breakfast was delicious and generous, inside Loraine's home. For dinner, there are a few good restaurants within 5...

Beautiful house and a lovely room, delightful host very helpful with good knowledge of the local area.House right on a lovely golf course .The area around the canals is really worth a visit and has a ffew nice restaurants

We had a lovely time at Milkwood. The hosts were very welcoming and the property was perfect for our requirements. The breakfasts were absolutely amazing and Jack the ginger cat was a lovely addition.

A wonderful stay in a friendly, warm and beautiful decorated room!! Thanks Lorrain and staff for wonderful breakfast and good service! Lorrain knows her village well and gave good advice on shops to visit like WOW and In Home. Also adviced to eat at an extra ordinary good restaurant Maurios. We enjoyed the excellent Currey prawn soup! It was well...

Lorraine was fantastic. We booked 2 rooms. Everything was clean neat and wonderful. Safe parking. And close to everything we needed. We had rooms 1 and 2. Perfect for traveling families. Beautiful town

Lorraine & Peter insure that you are comfortable,well fed and relaxed in their wonderful house in the most beautiful of SA small towns..lovely experience sad to leave. Good dining recommendation to Rambling Rose and Peter's Golf Club. Lorraine & Peter couldn't have made us feel more welcome. Excellent accommodation and breakfast. Lovely pool with ample and comfortable poolside furniture with drinks on hand. Would definitely revisit.

The owners are very friendly and helpful. Real comfortable bed to sleep in. The breakfast is tasty and plentiful. Location is perfect,near shops, eateries and the golf course. After a round of golf you can jump into the pool to cool down.

The first room was small but very clean. Second room on top floor was much nicer with a little balcony. Breakfast was lovely. Host were very friendly and helpful (ask them where to go for dinner, you will not be disappointed). The garden and the swimming pool was lovely and well maintained.

We really enjoyed our stay, breakfast was made to perfection with alot of fresh fruit as well. Lorraine is so friendly, helpful and informative, all staff very friendly as well, they made us feel at home. We loved our stay in St Francis and will return for a longer stay next time.
