My family and I moved to Johannesburg in the end of December, and we stayed at a Amanzi for over a month while we settled in before moving to our own place. Pam was absolutely amazing and really bent over backwards to make sure that we were comfortable. When we arrived from our 12+ hour flight, she made sure there...

We stayed with Rob and Pam at Amanzi Guesthouse from 28 September 2016 up to 23 January 2017. The most important for us was that our doggie, Tom-Tom, was also welcome and the accommodation provided for a secure and loving environment for him. We have enjoyed our stay and was extremely grateful that the cottage were serviced and that there...

I had to return to Johannesburg for a family funeral, and arranged my stay at Amanzi in short order. The owners were extremely accommodating, and the place itself both very comforting and homely. The cottage was great, the breakfast excellent and the entire surroundings made my stay in Johannesburg that much more easy. A great "home away from home". Highly...

I've stayed in lots of guesthouses, especially in Johannesburg, but also internationally, and Amanzi has become my favourite. Lovely place to stay in, relax in, and come back to from a hectic business or shopping trip. Excellent service from very pleasant lodge staff, and run by a wonderful couple who went out of their way to make me feel welcome....

Dear Julie Gosh! thanks so much for your great review, and so so pleased you felt welcome, and you enjoyed the garden and the breakfasts - did I tell you that the bread machine was a birthday present to Rob?!! We stayed at the Amanzi Guest House for a month when we were in Jo'burg to adopt our son. The 2 bedroom cottage was the perfect place for us as we needed a full kitchen and adequate living space for our 4 person family. The owners and staff were extremely hospitable and understanding of our many special requests to accommodate...

We are repeat visitors to Jnb but typically stay north of Sandton. Craighall Park is a stone's throw from hip Parkhurst and the urbane 44 Stanley precinct not to mention shopping destinations like Rosebank and Hyde Park. Our cottage was wonderful. Our pooch loved chilling with our hospitable hosts and their furry friends. We feel like we have found a...

My stay at Amanzi Guesthouse could not have been any better. Pam, Rob, Thabang Deliwe and Lena are all wonderful people who have welcomed me from the very first day until the very last. This is my second stay at Amanzi Guesthouse. The place is totally quiet which is my number one criteria. The loft-style studio is airy, fully equipped (including homemade rusks, tea and coffee), ,well decorated and spotlessly clean.
