We stayed 10 days and it really felt like home...we felt very welcome and met some very nice fellow-guests. Pam, Rob and the team really looked after us well and we'll definitely be staying at Amanzi next time in Joburg (if there's room!)

Tranquil setting, spacious & comfortable accommodation, very friendly and helpful staff & loving dogs. It's also centrally located which creates easy access to most major centres in Jo'burg. A great place to stay for business or holiday.

Dear Ginny Thank you for writing a review on Amanzi. I appreciate the effort it takes to do so, and thank you for letting us know that you enjoyed being here. It's kind of a secret suburb that so many overlook, we find it so central yet has a neighbourhood feel. You didn't get to go to the weekend markets...

Apartment 3 - A nice room upstairs. Comfortable, plenty of space, very friendly staff. Off road parking, nice breakfast, very accommodating. Had a little problem with a massive hail storm, but all issues were resolved very quickly and professionally.

Spacious well-appointed rooms, delicious breakfast, such a sense of peace in the lovely garden surroundings. I love this place! It's quiet and welcoming. Not walking distance from much of anything, unfortunately, but set in a lovely quiet suburb.

We had an unforgettable stay at Amanzi in the guest house. It was very neat and warm. We want to thank Benji for the game drive. He told us some interesting facts about the animals as well as the veld that we didn't know. He was very friendly and didn't hesitate to stop and wait for photos to be taken....

We arrived quite late, and were met by James the manager of the property whom we found to be polite , humorous and effective. The room was spotless, spacious and well appointed and although it was a few chilly nights of Johannesburg winter, the more than adequate heating options available and the super thick new winter duvet made for a...

Amanzi is really an ideal place to stay when visiting Joburg. Great South African hospitality (thank you, James and Thabo). Lovely, large room with kitchen facilities if you decide to stay in. Perfectly cooked hot breakfasts. Beautiful grounds. And Craighall Park is really the perfect location for checking out Sandton, Rosebank, and the great cafes of Parkhurst and Parktown North....

We - a family with two small children - stayed in one of the cottages. The cottage was of a very high standard. The entire premise feels secluded from the buzz of Joburg. For any request, a solution was found to make our stay as esay and enjoyable as possible.
