Engedi with their stunning gardens used to be a great place for a getaway on a weekend. Today was the worst experience in the history of Engedi. Neither the waitress, the kitchen nor management was coping with 3 tables for lunch. They might have a few functions at the same time, then don't take bookings for lunch! !!! Not to...

I went there with my family from the 24th to the 28th of December. The garden/landscaping is amazing. The deluxe rooms were good looking, just a few visual details that needed attention. The 2 standard rooms that we booked smelt awful. They were stuffy and it was as if someone was smoking in there. On day one, the breakfast was...

I've been driving past EnGedi for many years but it was the first time i've stopped here to have breakfast. During the week it's A Le Cart but on weekends they have Saturday and Sunday breakfast buffet's. Saturday breakfast is simpler than Sunday but all the food was really well prepared and looked appetizing. Be careful as there are 2...

The rooms a big enough and some guests might want to have the bedroom and restroom separated by a door or some form of solid separator. Otherwise the venue provides overall value for money and a great environment plus staff willing to help at all times

Although it rained the whole time, we enjoyed our stay. The room was very nice, especially the big bath, also having the tv helped as it gave us some entertainment. and we enjoyed the surroundings, we even ventured out in the rain for a walk around the grounds.

I arrived late at night, well after the office had closed, but the security guard had been well-informed ahead of time, let me in, and took me to my room. As I discovered the next day when I could see, the grounds are really gorgeous. You get your own little one-room cottage to yourself, which was nice, and that room...

We had the Christmas lunch buffet (which was ok) and we also slept there for night. They 1st had our rooms mixed up.The rooms were not very clean, we also got only 1tiny soap and 1shower gel in the room. The breakfast buffet was so dry, we didn't enjoy it, they also served plain yoghurt without any fruit.

Experienced irritating flies in the rooms with no visible attempt to xontrol them. The worst for me was a restriction to one glass of juice per person for what is supposed to be a buffet breakfast. You can do better!
