Wonderful break away. Never having been to a Hydro resort previously - I had no idea as to what I would encounter. Amazing experience - it was very welcoming, everyone was very friendly and the food was amazing - recommended to all who aspire to some peace, and solitude

Dr. Kruger put me on the road to recovery from high blood sugar, I lost 5 kg and really enjoyed the lovely grounds. The staff were all very helpful, friendly and attentive. Thanks all, for a great time!

This is the place to go for relaxing and destressing. The staff are all so friendly and helpful. The meals are healthy and tasty and filling. I strongly recommend Hooglands, I have been going there since 1985 and just love the peace and tranquility you find there.

lovely place in nature away from the bustle of daily life. what is on offer at the hydro allows one time for oneself - to re energize and find ones equilibrium. This time had two friends join me and they too loved every minute of the tranquility

My DAUGHTER AND I HAD A VERY RELAXING 2 DAYS AT HOOGLAND Hydro, between her prelims and final matric exams. It was exactly what the Dr ordered :) Just a note: Bring mossie spray for the rooms prior to dinner so they fly away. We had so many in our room and I don't like to use the plug in...

I enjoy the quality of massages, the free timing for food (great idea !) . I appreciate individual consultations , the wide choice of exercises (except Pilates class that was not the real...

From our first greeting I felt at home and relaxed; staff were so accommodating and friendly. The rooms have beautiful views of the bush or grounds, although the property is quite old. All meals (buffet throughout the day) were great and the choices really varied. The all-day fruit buffet is exceptional. I loved the hydro facilities that can be used...

A wonderful retreat for rest and relaxation. I felt pampered and cared for during my stay. Salads and fruit available 24 hours. Meals delicious, especially the salads. Decor a bit old fashioned, but not of any significance. Wonderful mountain surroundings...... I had a sense of sadness when I left . My only concern was the last few kilometres of road...

Lovely gardens and surroundings. Peaceful place to get away from the "rat race of life". Lovely friendly staff. A great all round concept. Would love a similar setup at the sea. Felt fit and healthy on departure.
