Room was clean and kept warm with blankets and air-conditioning. Slept like a baby on the extremely comfortable bed. Hot shower with great water pressure. Sumptuous and truly authentic English breakfast. Property is ideally located close to Brooklyn Mall packed with restaurants, supermarket etc. Parking is private and secure. Good wifi connection. Have just left the Bay Tree after a great week in Pretoria - daughter played in junior ITF tennis tournament and Bay Tree is ideally located for the tennis facilitity. We had a fantastic, spacious room at the Bay Tree that was immaculately clean and super comfortable (a home away from home). Renee and Fred are great hosts and nothing... More

We found the rooms to be very spacious and immaculately clean. The owners were extremely friendly are most accommodating, going the "extra mile" to ensure our stay will be a well treasured memory. We would definitely use this establishment again if we are in the area.

My son stayed at the Bay Tree Guest House in Pretoria and the owners went the extra mile to help him and make him feel totally at home, like he was part of the family. Top marks for the food and the accommodation. Highly recommended.

Very warm welcome after a long flight, tea, coffee, water, while the kids enjoyed the refreshing pool in the garden. Friendly owners, good tips on restaurants, we ended up in Blue Crane restaurant, closeby, nice outside dining overlooking the bird reserve. Breakfast the next morning was great too before driving to Phalaborwa.

We were disappointed a bit about how dated the place was compared to many B&B's in SA. It is very true that the owners are VERY friendly and very... More

We had a chance to stay in Bay Tree Guest House in Pretoria recently. It was awesome. All necessary commodities were available there. It was neat & clean. Breakfast was appreciable. Most charming part was enthusiastic hospitality by Reene & by her beloved huband Prof. Fred.

Four of us stayed at Bay Tree for six days and we find the place a real home away from our home in the Philippines. With Renee and Fred always there to assist us in everything we need. Nice and clean room, nice breakfast and we feel so secure in the heart of pretoria. we will definitely recommend to friends
