I stayed in Sitatunga for my first week in Johannesburg. We had a lovely braai with the owners and they rode us to work every day. At the end the staff even helped my to find further accommondation. Beautifully decorated with nice people and A/C and pool area. Quite isolated paradise but pick-up services functioned well. I lived in twin... More

This guest lodge had great accommodations and the staff were extremely helpful. It was nice to relax in the courtyard area after a day of work. The lodge was decorated beautifully and landscaped well into small intimate areas. The staff helped to arrange a safari tour with a company to Pilanesburg National Park and coordinated the details with the safari... More

I stayed at Sitatunga for almost four months in a self-catering room whilst working in Joburg and had a wonderful stay. The room was carefully decorated and the garden was an oasis of peacefulness away from the city's hustle. There are only a few rooms so the place always feel quiet and intimate. Cleaning and laundry were conducted twice a... More

I stayed at the Guesthouse only one night. In general I was very happy. I was suppose to stay at the Africlassic River Lodge but they got my booking wrong and did not have space for me. The owner of Africlassic River Lodge then booked me in at Sitatunga Guest Lodge and gave me a rain check to visit them... More

The room was spacious, well appointed with private entrance and patio overlooking a spectacular garden. The Iceberg roses were in full bloom, birds singing in the peaceful nooks and crannies. I had to leave before breakfast was served, and on request boiled eggs were provided to take away. The only issue is limited parking space taking into consideration the number... More

Very pleasant, family run. There is a beautiful garden with a small pool, barbeque, outdoor and indoor living room. The rooms are clean, small kitchen, aircon, heating. Comfortable beds. Excellent breakfast. Very relaxed and friendly owners. A must if it is at your desired location.

We shifted to Sitatunga lodge after 3 days at a hotel and regretted not having come earlier. Loved the ambience, decor and the attention to detail. Both Danny and Natalie went out of their way to accomodate our requests including breakfast at unearthly hours. Definitely on my list of favourites.

Being used to staying in the big hotels in Sandton district I was a bit apprehensive when the office told me I was booked into a 'guest lodge'. I need not have worried, from the pick up at the airport (Sitatunga Transfers based at the guest lodge) to the drop off back to the airport I can honestly say I... More
