Stayed here for two nights and was very disappointed. Both mornings woke to the loud noise of jackhammers hammers at 8am from renovations being done in the room next door. Power kept on going out and wifi was really bad. I paid $450 per night for this room i would expect 5 star rooms at that rate. Complained to staff...

Mariese made my bookings and my awesome service experience started here. Every single individual at this establishment exhibits the most amazing service. Bianca really made an impression on me at check-in. She really went the extra mile to ensure check-in was swift and efficient. The suites are stunning. We stayed in a 2 bedroomed luxury suite which was bigger than...

I had the pleasure to spend only 1 night at The Michelangelo. It has been a great experience, which exceeded my expectations. The hotel is conveniently located in Sandton at Mandela Sq. The room was spacious and very nice. Outstanding hospitality by the staff. Thank you.

Don't recommend!! They claim to offer dry cleaning. I, unfortunately, decided to use that service on August 27 2015 . When I got my pants back, I noticed that the pay slip had 'washed' checked. I asked about it and was told that my pants had been dry cleaned. When I tried them on, they were a size too small...

I stayed in the Michelangelo for a couple of months whilst working in Johannesburg. On first look you could be fooled into thinking that the suites were 5 star, but during my stay cracks appeared. The rooms were old and in need of refurbishment. Carpet, mattresses and sofas/settees all smelt stale. It was off putting to be reminded that someone...
