I have a loathing of big international anonymous chain hotels..... The Michelangelo is is Sandton - central and safe. It looks HUGE - but isn't really. The staff are SO friendly and helpful - nothing is too much trouble. All in all 10/10!

The location of this property is just unbeatable. Literally within the same complex as one of Jborgs best malls, it felt like the perfect family break. Rooms and views excellent. Loved the convenience of the fridge, washing machine, oven etc. The only downside was that the Outside pool was unheated and when we took the kids to the indoor pool..we...

I arranged a surprise for my wife on Valentines day. I asked the venue to prepare appropriately and boy they did a good job of it. We were welcomed with a room full of ballons and tower of strawberries. The bed was appropriately dressed with rose petals. We enjoyed the stay and evening a lot. Thank you.

The hotel is not modern style, it is more Renaissance style but very new and comfortable. The rooms are big, I recommend asking for a room facing to Nelson Mandela Square with two floor levels, for the bed and for the living room. The restroom is very big, clean and well equipped with amenities of very high quality. I only...

On checking in with my colleague we were informed that we had both been upgraded to two bedroom suites. I thought that's nice, a bit more space, ha! I had a two bedroom duplex apartment with everything I could possibly need for less per night than I'd paid for the cheap and nasty airport hotel the night before.... The bedrooms...

You really can't beat the views from the Towers! Prime location, right in the heart of Sandton, so you are a lift-ride away from Mandela Square and Sandton City. Depending on what you need to do in Joburg I would highly recommend it. Their staff is also very kind and ready to help.
