We called for a room and to our surprise they could accommodate us for few days into the new year. What we enjoyed most was that they could also cater Halaal. The standard of hospitality and assistance...

Well appointed rooms, great breakfast, nothing too much trouble. Friendly, helpful staff. We needed breakfast before the usual time and it was no trouble. Less than ten minutes drive from Kings Park Pool, our venue for the week. We would definitely go there again.

The hospitality and comfort offered was great. The eagerness to assist at any time was something very impressive. Had extraordinary help from the host when needed urgently laundry service at odd hour, which was gladly assisted.

I have stayed at Burns many times over the past 6 years when in Durban for work. The standard of accomodation is consistently high, Shelley and Mike maintain a beautiful home and garden and welcome guests so well you feel part if the family. It's a lovely place to relax but also to work with wifi available throughout the property....

Tasteful furnished and generous equipped rooms and house, everything in top shape. Great breakfast; Save and handy located close to the main sights of Durban, very quiet because of situated in a dead end street. Very welcoming and experienced hosts, e.g. Trust their advise on Restaurants and places to visit. We started our SA-experience with a two nights stay at...

Burns is very peaceful, beautifully decorated and homely, yet modern and refined. Loved the African Stillroom amenities in the bathrooms - probably the first time I've truly enjoyed hotel lotions, etc. Mike and Shelly are friendly and down to earth, completely willing to go above and beyond for guests and very efficient. Shelly serves a wonderful breakfast. Great experience, wouldn't...

Lovely house in the residential part of Durban. The house itself is beautiful, clean, modern with vintage furniture. The service recieved from the owners and their staff is something one must right about. I have no complaints but only good things to say about the experience. Should I decide on taking another short left to Durban I would definitely consider...
