My husband and I had a great experience at the Concierge and would highly recommend it to everyone wanting an interesting, different, quirky, stylish, cool and hip experience. We did not find the area unsavory at all, but vibrant and real. There is safe parking for your vehicle and we felt very safe and secure on site. The rooms are...

My boyfriend and I arrived from Cape Town and found the Concierge to be one of the best things Durban has to offer... The detail and humor really makes it unique. A variety of sweets, drinks, Pringles etc were offered in the room with the option of purchasing, which was really ideal... And free filter coffee for the cutest little...

I had been keen to stay at this hotel for some time after seeing multiple reviews. On arrival, my husband was less than impressed given the slightly less savoury looking neighbourhood that we passed en route. The hotel itself is laid out in an unusual way. There is a large yard with offices on the left including the hotel lobby....

First off and to get it out of the way and be very clear, this review is not on the staff. Service and customer care at this B&B was top shelf. Upon arrival I was completely taken aback by the huge in your face security fence at the entrance. I understand the need for security, but does it have to...

We stayed at the concierge for two nights. We arrived early and the staff did their best to have the room ready for us. We stayed in the king with the veranda. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was stylish and just big enough and included a TV, AC, Mini-Fridge and safe. The bathroom is very modern...

Even if Durban may not be your typical tourist hotspot (unless you are a surfer), The Concierge makes you want to spend a few days in town. It's a really cool place, operated by a team of relaxed and cool people, who are clearly focused on making their guests happy. Don't miss breakfast at Freedom Café. We only spent one...

Phenomenal staff from the Manager to House Keeping, the team could not have been more accommodating to all the touring families, thank you! Accommodation beautiful and the food at the Freedom Cafe was simple but exceptional.. Next tour October and we would not book anywhere else. A wonderful find.

A fabulous spot hidden in Durban, stunning decor with friendly staff and superb food, loved the quirky additions of the Dachshund, added a touch of SA slang for the international visitors. We were accommodated as a group booking, and they went the extra mile to accommodate all our requests. A must see spot, definitely a break from the usual hotel,...

I really loved this place. The room was stylish, the terrace was chilled cool... All the little touches make you excited to be there and be in Durban. They offer really good advice on where to go, there's cold brew coffee on the menu for breakfast...

Firstly, if you plan to visit Durban for a beach holiday, then stay at a beach hotel. If however, you are on business or need more of a base to explore from, then the Concierge is a great choice. The location is perhaps a little difficult to find and not entirely appealing at face value. It is located relatively close...
