We enjoyed our days in this beautiful house. The breakfast was the best I ever had in South Africa!! The rooms were wonderful and the pool also. The staff was very nice. We even liked the dog!! The only regret was the expensive laundry service. We should have asked before what the price would be - our fault.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The humidity was unbearable, and the lack of air conditioning didn't help. The Wifi signal in the guesthouse is also weak. Otherwise, the guest house is in a great area.

Thank you for your review. You stayed in our Self Catering Cottage, which is set just away from the main house, so the Wifi signal is rather weak at times. The rest of the Main Guest House and public areas are a better signal, and I am sorry you did not tell me at the time as I could have...

We spent two nights at the grange, great hotel with a wonderful deck for breakfast or an evening meal. The breakfast menu is innovative, with the usual and some tasty different dishes. Good location for getting into Durban and handy for the airport. Trish and the staff are lovely and welcoming. Trish is a great source of ideas for visits...

Furthermore the host was really nice and we would definitely stay there again! 5* for affordable price ! We had a room at the ground level with a nice little balcony and close to the pool

The place is in a quiet safe environment. Staff is friendly & accommodating. Delicious breakfast served with a smile. I didn't like the presence of ants in the bathroom. Parking, I think, is a bit tight.

Good day and thank you for taking the time to review The Grange. We do pride ourselves in offering a friendly home from home environment, but we too do not like the ants and critters that visit this leafy green suburb from time to time in the hot summer months... The hospitality at The Grange was great, very welcoming and the staff and owner ensured that we were comfortable. It is situated in a beautiful, quiet leafy suburb, not so far from the main roads, beach and Gateway Mall. I'd suggest more variety in the breakfast but I liked how all the food was fresh. It exceeded my expectations, keep...

Our family just returned from a brief stay in Durban. We booked this guest house based on the positive reviews and were not disappointed. The guesthouse is very clean and homely. The staff are friendly and welcoming and we felt quite at home in the family room even with 2 young children. We would stay here again.
