The Grange experience far exceeded all of our expectations. Mutari so graciously welcomed us despite our late arrival, and continued to be kind and helpful throughout our stay. The two bedroom suite was fantastic; private, beautifully, tastefully, and warmly decorated. The view of the pool, gardens, and distant ocean from the master bedroom's large window was stunning. The breakfast was...

The service was fantastic. We were welcomed by the owner who showed us to a lovely room with crisp white linen, tastefully decorated and very reasonably priced for the location! The bathroom was huge and the white towels soft and fluffy. We were surprised to find the breakfast menu more extensive than most 5 star hotels have to offer and...

Thank you for taking the time to review us. Although the tour guests only have a short stay with us we try to give them a little taste of Durban and the Indian restaurant down the road has proved popular. Occasionally we can help get them down to the Stadium for a quick trip up the cable car or Ushaka...

This was one of the best B&B on our three week trip. Excellent location and a superb house. We had quite a specious room with view across the garden and even sea view. Host was very friendly and have some good tips. Breakfast was excellent too. Very charming atmosphere!

I had a 7 day stay in the Grange last week - booked for me by an agent - following an emergency visit to Durban for medical treatment. I stayed in the outside room - it was absolutely lovely. Quiet, peaceful, large, but also very personal and full of character. Annelie. Mutari and their staff could not have done more...

Thank you so much for your very kind review! Its was an absolute pleasure looking after you and your colleagues and little things like a lift 5 minutes to the soccer stadium or the shops 500m down the road are no trouble at all. We hope to see you in Durban again one day - next time for pleasure! We...

Stayed at The Grange for a couple of nights in the self catering cottage. Easy to find although traffic can be a bit manic. Guest house is behind an electric gate and fences as are all in the area. The cottage was nice, perfectly clean and relatively big. The bedroom is a little on the small side but didn't spend...

thank you for your review, we are glad you like the area, we do consider Upper Durban North to be a bit of a hidden gem, within easy reach of the city and Umhlanga, glad you could see the positives. We are also happy that you liked the amenities of the cottage, yes the bedroom is on the small side...

One of the most hospitable guesthouses we have ever been to! We stayed for only 2 nights and if we didn't have to go back to work, we would have stayed the whole week! The house is absolutely beautiful, our room was clean, spacious and comfortable and the breakfast was top drawer. I would recommend the Grange to anyone visiting...

Just spent an amazing weekend in Durban, staying at The Grange Guesthouse. As you arrive in the street, huge trees welcome you and create such a tropical vibe.
