We stayed 10 Norwegians (6 adults, 4 kids) in Old Farmhouse. One unit had recently been rehabilitated, the other could maybe benefited from some painting. Both had well equipped kitchens and each of them two bathroom. This was the only available accommodation for bigger families. There are lots of wild animals on the farm, and you see giraffe, nyala, wilderbeast,... More

We were set up in the ostrich but was disappointed I would not recommend ostrich. But staff was very friendly and we got moved to a beautiful unit overlooking the dam. Game drive was enjoyed and food was delicious.

For an expensive wedding venue stuck out in the sticks first thing comes to mind is electricity. Well in a nut shell None. The gennie wouldn't work and with the receptionist and chef trying to fix. No hope so. No supper and breakfast. @ +900 Randeroes a night. Hefty bill. Nah wouldn't go back. Sorry

Had a wedding reception at Rain Farm.Spending the night and following day there we took advantage of the 'game drive' and guided walk - highly recommend! It's a great location, unusual and very memorable. The friendly and enthusiastic staff only add to the experience. Looking forward to going back.

The dam facing luxury unit was beautifully located and the picturesque views from the outdoor shower were such a treat! The game drive was fantastic and so was the pool/restaurant area. Great location too!

The game lodge is very beautiful with many animals living on it...perfect for a mini get away. The tour guides are friendly and love what they do as displayed in their attitude and vast knowledge of the animals The restaurant takes quite a bit of time after ordering food but is well worth it, some of the best I've had....overall... We got married here 3 years ago and decided to come back for a relaxing weekend away. Still think it is a stunning place with beautiful scenery. We stayed in a luxury tent this time and it is very spacious, clean and we loved the sound of the river... The food was good, limited though and we had to change... More
