Stayed here for a couple of days on a business trip, like many hotels reception presented a good image but room told a different story. Room was big but very old and wasn't clean. A shame as the location is good.

The rooms were neat and beautiful. The staff were friendly and the food was awesome. So far one of the very few hotels that offer such great service around Durban beachfront. Will definitely come back again.

I only stayed 1 night at the hotel, room 710. The reception is beautiful. Staff was helpful and friendly. The room is VERY spacious, clean and neat. White tiles with white bedding and curtains. Unfortunately 2 single beds and no duvets, blankets under the white sheets. The hotel should really invest in some duvets! Excellent ocean and marine parade view...

The rooms are beautiful and you have an awesome view of the Ocean. Very friendly staff and you are centrally based to visit all the major attractions that Durban offers. The hotel is very clean and it is like second home away from home.

My partner and I were in Durban for a weekend, with our little baby. The hotel has nice big rooms, with a beautiful view of the Indian Ocean. We had a great time clubbing, knowing that our baby was left to a wonderful child minder from the hotel.

Pros: remodeled and modern rooms, beautiful ocean views, location (casino, restaurants, beach, family stuff like Mini Town and Fun World), great customer service at reception, complimentary desserts and drinks in the afternoon at reception, fancy breakfast with decent food, nice restaurant and business lounge onsite, cheap parking onsite, very affordable. We would return and really enjoyed our stay. But, this...

I have been doing Durban for years but i had never stayed at this hotel. So i was pleasantly surprised. At the time of the stay it was still undergoing an upgrade, so it would get very noisy in the day time! the views at the higher rooms are astounding.

It is so sad that a hotel which once offered great service has deteriorated to offering such Disgraceful, almost embarrassing service. The bad experience that we had was when we went down to the bar for some drinks at 22:00; knowing that the bar closes at 24:00. The bartender was happy to service beers; however when the ladies wanted to...

I spent one night there and did not get a chance to try all the amenities ( like the pool) First, the good. The room's furnishings were a little worn...

For those that dont mind the sound of beachfront rumble of the waves. The cool sea breeze in your face. The main areas are all within waljing distances. The best value for money in a upclass Hotel. The food is very delightful and tasteful. The real place to stay and enjoy all Durban can offer.
