This is the best hotel to book into when on holiday in Durban. It has self catering apartments with a balcony, so one can indulge in eating breakfast/lunch/supper or perhaps all 3 meals on the balcony enjoying the rising or setting sun with the view and sound of the ocean, absolutely breathtaking. The apartments are spacious, clean and has all...

Disappointing, rooms are like dometries. A six sleeper has two beds in the kitchen, very unhygienic and very inconveniencing. One toilet combined with bathroom for a six-sleeper? Did any thought went into this?

Situated across from the beautiful beach is where you'll find a blue painted building called Durban Spa. I had very high hopes for this place and as someone as youthful and energetic as I am I thought what the hect let me take my amazing friends for a little trip to relax after some horrid exams. So we get to...

We had a studio room, which catered for 4 people but grateful it was just 2 of us, because it would have been very cramped! The bed was comfortable and the room itself was clean but the bathroom needs a revamp to make it a nice place to stay, Also, the lift lobbies and the passages are dark and although...

I'm visiting the annual Tourism Indaba since 2004 and after a bad experience at the hotel where I normally stayed (robbed) - moved 2011 to the Durban Spa. This year I've booked a double sleeper and will in future always do same. All equipment similar to bigger units, neat, tidy, clean, comfortable, spacious and cozy. The staff went out of...

Located on the marine parade of Durban beachfront. Secured parking garage available. Convenient Spur family restaurant in lobby. Found our 8th floor unit extremely noisy over weekend lots of traffic noise, tailgaters partying in parking area by beach, loud music 'till early morning hours - BUT I did have the windows open would probably be quieter with windows shut. Staff...

The staff was very friendly and the hotel has a really nice heated pool for bad weather which I had throughout my stay, which was an up side for me. But on the other hand the room was infested with ants firstly which made it very difficult for us to have food in our room even though it was a...

Clean neat establishment, good location, on the beachfront with good views of the north beach. the unit was clean and the linen too, however the furniture and decor is outdated and gives the unit a boring feel. would really suggest a revamp and replacement of the stove. all in all was a decent place to stay in although not the...
