We recently stayed in the Zululand Safari lodge side on a bed and bed basis. The rooms were very pretty and clean with lovely views and aircon. Our unit number 11, was situated close to the jungle gym for the kids, as well as boma for braai'ing at night and the swimming pool. The main reception offered a decent breakfast...

Great accommodation close to Hluhluwe game reserve Having stayed at both, I prefer Ubizane as my overnight stop. We spent a week doing game drives in Hluhluwe and used Ubizane as our evening accommodation The dinner and breakfast spreads are great and the surrounds are wild and beautiful. Stayed in the tree house lodge with views into the Fever Tree...

We just love Ubizane's self-catering accommodation: for us it provides everything we need outside Hluhluwe game reserve. It provides clean and international standard accommodation. Being from England now living in SA we would recommend Ubizane to international visitors looking for the safari experience. It's main attraction for us are the zebra, buck and occasional giraffe passing by the windows at...

A mixed review this time. There are two lodges here, The Tree Lodge where all the facilities are and the Safari Lodge which has lovely rooms but is a longlong way from the facilities and fro the start of the game drives. With my walking difficulties I was fortunate that our Ranger, Alan, was happy to collect us. He was...

My parents and I were booked into a next door cottage at the self catering Zulu land safari lodge but there were no braai facilities for us, the other cottages had braai facilities and we had to braai in the communal area so when booking please request a self catering cottage with a close braai facility. The aircon in our...

We stayed at the safari lodge and had a wonderful stay. The staff were so friendly and helpful from the time we arrived until we left. They made an effort to ensure there was vegetarian food for some of us. Rooms were clean and neat and the Boma area was perfect for our big group. Will definitely be back again.

Great lodge in close proximity to the Ezimvulo Game reserve. Staff super friendly and owner is a character. Rooms and clean and lodge is well maintained. Crocs around the dinner setting is very different experience.

What a lovely setting with great rooms, friendly staff and excellent Sipho with whom we had a wonderful game drive. Excellent viewings when we saw 4 of the big 5 on one early drive and then back to a scrumptious breakfast. Welcome rain has made the reserve Well worth a visit.
