The kitchen was infested with black ants that invaded our food. The only ammunition I had was baby powder, which I liberally spread on the kitchen counters. This helped to a certain extent. The cleaning staff can bear witness to this. Whilst asleep, we were coved with insects and insect droppings. The rafters ungently need fumigation.

Truly amazing stay. Super comfortable. Check in was such a pleasure. Housekeeping was marvellous and the lodge was superb. From the attention to detail (charger adapters, dishwashing tabs etc.) to the sufficient cutlery and crockery, towels etc. The private pool was a bonus. The wildlife and braai/entertainment area was breath-taking. Thank you for our stay. We will be back.

We arrived at Jacana Lodge on Friday evening. Jacana lodge is inside Kuleni game park. We stayed at schalet 1. There is long wooden path you take to get to your schalet which I liked, it like a Mistry path. The bedroom was quite spacious, the kitchen was also well equipped my favorite was the outside shower touch. I really...

So glad you enjoyed our little place in the bush!

Jacana Lodge is a wonderful retreat. A beautiful setting with private pool. The lodge itself is extremely spacious with fabulous bedrooms and a spacious luxurious feeling throughout. Each bedroom has a huge viewing window into the bush, where we saw warthog and kudu. The outside of the lodge is almost as beautiful as the interior, each bedroom having an outdoor...

Jacana Lodge delivers in all respects the feeling of a true game lodge while still retaining the essentials of a five star villa. Beautiful well-appointed bedrooms makes it a comfortable stay but the "safari" and outdoor experience is enhanced by the outside but well-hidden showers. A huge vaulted living area and fully-equipped kitchen opens out through bi-fold doors to an...

Great chalet in the reserve. We loved the peace and quiet. Close enough to both Hluhluwe and Sodwana Bay. The unit is well equipped and the outdoor shower was a real treat. We were only unhappy that we didn't stay longer.

We enjoyed a relaxing 5-night stay at the Jacana Main Lodge. The accommodation was outstanding with 4 beautifully furnished en suite bedrooms and a lovely open plan kitchen/lounge/dining area. We loved having our own private pool and seeing various different animals on a daily basis. The staff were also very helpful and friendly. This was a restful and luxurious stay!

We loved our stay, your staff are great and the unit with the pool was such a private treat. The man at the gate was not too sure of what and where which could be improved upon, but we would happily come back and especially when you have had some badly needed rain as think watching animals from your own...

What a beautiful spot for a get-away! It has everything you need and more. The staff where extremely helpful and friendly. The lodge (we were in #1) is very well stocked and has everything you might wish for. The walking routes were well plotted and sign posted. By the time we arrived at Jacaranda we had driven a week driving around Kruger Park with days starting at 5 a.m. The peace and tranquility of the lodge is just sublime. With all modern cons and a seriously comfortable bed, my only regret was not to be staying much longer. Set in the Kuleni Game Reserve, I enjoyed a...
