My boyfriend and I have stayed multiple times at Wildebees Ecolodge. Our most recent trip was another excellent stay. The rooms are nicely appointed and always spotlessly clean. The staff are friendly and really make you feel welcome. The food is excellent and well priced - normally don't have enough room for all the delicious food they prepare for you....

Sadly I selected this 'lodge' to be our camping home for two nights whilst our group visited Hluhluwe Game Reserve. Having to repair a puncture on the rocky roads to the lodge dampened our enthusiasm...Arriving in 3 camper vans we found that there were no allocated campsites, in fact there are no campsites! We ended up parking in the road...

We hadn't expected rose petals in the shape of a heart on the bed - they didn't know it was our 40th wedding anniversary. Fabulous meals! Exquisite cuisine - every meal. Careful attention to our dietary health requirements

Pleasure to find this comfortable and welcoming oasis, even though the whole Zululand area is suffering from a drought. Nice accessibility to Hluhluwe game reserve. We highly recommend the Wildebees lodge.

nice and authentic small scale lodge in a safe environment near Hluhluwe. Lots of things to see nearby, like big game parks and santa lucia at 1,5 hours drive. The lodges are pretty basic (no television, but who needs that) and the pool was pretty dirty when we were here in september, but the terrace is nice and clean, the...

Simple yet comfortable accommodation in lovely location, where one feels in touch with nature. Staff very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was rather average and could be improved - cereals were stale, poor quality juice, toasters need replacing, garden and plants need tending and TLC. A very pleasant stay all in all.

Basic but adequately equiped, spacious and clean accommodation in thatced roof cabins in pleasant palm tree and sandy setting. Communal kitchen is located to the side of the terrain but to which our cabin was fortunately conveniently close. Good value.

No complaints about room and service. Suggestion that the communal kitchen is updated in terms of utensils, serving bowls and pots as this was not sufficient Friendly hosts and staff very good, thanks

Enjoyed horseback riding... Great experience! The updated family room looks great! Keep up the renovations. Would be nice to have the standby generator power all rooms during power outages. Delicious breakfast.

The accommodation is very comfortable. Interesting bird life to be seen on the self-guided walk. On the first morning the only negative was that staff was unprepared for breakfast, but once that was sorted out is was superb. Great service and very friendly. A bit far away from Hluhluwe Game Reserve if that is the purpose of the visit.
