Delightfully traditional accommodation awaits one at Jessica's. The welcome is warm and both Jessica and Eric are always happy to offer help and advice when wanted. We stayed for almost a week and were most reluctant to leave. Secure parking and wifi were added bonuses. We look forward to returning.

It is hard to over-rate the hospitality offered by Jessica and Eric at Umhlanga. The lodges are simple but have everything you need. Good beds, chairs, fridge, cutlery, microwave and a pool outside. But the joy is in the garden laid from scratch. Jessica is a horticulturalist and, between them, she and Eric have created a forest setting over a...

Availability is good. Parking on premise! The rooms are a little dated and musty but the garden is a delight. The hosts are very hospitable and social. They helped us with planning the rest of our trip!

We used AIR BnB to find a well-priced spot in Umhlanga for a business trip and this one popped up. Secure, with off-street parking and all the mod-cons needed for a self-catering guest room. Stove and oven, microwave etc etc. The bedroom had separate single beds with an en suite bathroom. The aircon costs a little extra and the TV...

I came upon Jessica's B&B by chance - and what a lucky find this was! I had a small self catering unit at the back of the property and was amazed to discover that the landlady ('Jessica')) had thought of absolutely every single thing you could possibly need for such a stay. The whole unit was immaculately clean and the bed...

Designers garden and immaculate. Clean rooms, furnished with lovely old South African Oak and Oregon cottage sytle furniture. Excellent breakfasts as well as value for money. Always helpful and willing to assist with directions for local tourist attractions.

We (party of three) stayed at Jessica's B&B for three days in early September 2015. The accommodation was good, competitively priced and met all our expectations. The owners of the B&B, Jessica and Eric, were as usual, extremely helpful and welcoming. (We later ascertained that the B&B had been established by Jessica and Eric circa the mid-nineteen nineties.) We found...

I was recommended this place from another b$b but was very disappointed when I arrived. Although clean it was dark depressing and very old fashioned. I don't think it had had an upgrade since the 1960s. More like backpackers accommodation, the wifi only worked in the garden plus the TV only had 4 working channels which is tough for an...

Whenever we're in Durban, we make sure to book into this lovely place. Jessica and Eric are wonderful hosts and make sure we have what we need every time. Units are very well priced. The place has a very relaxed family atmosphere, it has a small pool and a stunning garden. It's not a five star deluxe hotel, but it's...

We stayed at Jessica's for 10 days with my step mother. We had 2 units. We found the accommodation clean and tidy. We did not know how long we were staying as my father was in hospital, but Jessica just took it all in her stride and said she could sort things out if need be. The gardens were were...
