Really nice and helpful owner, rooms were spotless and have everything you could ask for, breakfast was lovely especially served on the terrace when the weather was nice. The only very minor thing we would change was that the dstv in the' tin room' would only play the channel which was on in the main house, paperwork said it could...

My husband and I enjoyed a one night stay here, breaking our journey from East London to Cape Town. The decor abounds with wood, many period pieces, with some tasteful reproductions. Beautiful wooden floors, liberally scattered with kelims. Pets are allowed by arrangement, and one of the other guests there had a lovely dog. We stayed in the main house,...

Thanks Karyn for the comprehensive review and comments. The firm matrasses are a firm favourite amongst our guests. Sorry you needed softer. Thanks for bringing the mildew in the shower to our attention, though this was dealt with already before receiving your review. Regards Mike

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights in one of the B&B rooms, with our friends also occupying another room and the self catering cottage. Mike was a great host and even joined us one night for a brai. The outdoor space this place has is amazing; perfect gardens, nice little pool and a huge brai with plenty...

Thanks Lee for the review and comments, as well as for staying here. Much appreciated. For future guests regarding the distance; 3 - 7 km to restaurants: most of our guests have their own transport, for those who want to have a drink with their dinner, there are shuttle services or we serve dinner by prior arrangement.

A very pretty and peaceful spot in a lovely area. Mike was a great host - helpful and accommodating. We stayed in the self catering cottage which was spacious and well equipped, complete with cot and highchair; our baby enjoyed his breakfast outside everyday in the sunshine! Our friends stayed in another room (b&b) and were impressed with the breakfast....

An amazing little find off the beaten track just outside Wilderness. Surrounded by reed bushes, very peaceful and just what we were looking for. Very reasonably price and very friendly checking that things were all okay, was a perfect stop over. Had everything that we needed to bed down in clean , quiet comfortable little out house. Breakfast on the...

A comfortable adaptation from its former role affords guests excellent experience. The host explains the facilities well, and answers questions without a fuss. Wifi is best in the lounge, and because of location a tad slow. Delightful location.

Mike was the perfect host and we were made to feel very welcome on our arrival. The room was spotless, beautifully decorated and well stocked. Breakfast was delicious and Mike got our big load of laundry done in a day, which was really helpful. The Old Trading Post is an excellent location and it's easy to get into George as...

My mom, 3 fur kids, and I were warmly welcomed from the second we arrived. We stayed in the fully equipped Strelitzia Cottage and loved every relaxing minute. Breakfast were delicious, and the one dinner we had there was also oustanding. Mike and Hajra were the perfect hosts, and by the time we left they felt like family. We would...

I stayed here with my wife for 3 days on the garden room (self-catering), the room has everything you need to have a good stay. Thank you for your review and positive comments. We are surrounded by the beautiful wetlands of the National Park, which support abundant life of all forms.
