This was for us a unique and fun holiday experience provided by a passionately driven family with a clear ecological mission. Tim and Angelique are welcoming and relish sharing their incredible lifestyle project in such a peaceful environment. This is exciting as well as relaxing. You feel far away from the rat race. We arrived on the long, bumpy dirt...

What a wonderful, calm and quite place. The stay was fantastic. Beautiful, clean and frindiness are words to desribe this place. Tim is a wonderful host and always on hand to assit if you have any problems. I recommend this to any family who enjoy the hush of the world and the area, but would like to quite down when...

We stayed for a night in this eco reserve, tucked away in between 2 lagoons. Warm welcome by Tim, whom explained us everything about the chalet and surroundings. The chalet is large enough for a big family, we were just the two of us but enjoyed every bit of our stay, the chalet has all you need for a comfortable...

The owners have run high end lodges before and it shows in the quality of what they have now created for themselves. This is off grid living without all the usual compromises because of the investment in high capacity solar pv and hot water systems giving you mains equivalent outputs. Accommodation is spotless and modern with a European level of...

We stayed in the cabins, they are tucked away perfectly. The cabins are eco friendly, well constructed. Very comfortable, with all the amenities you could need and quality bedding! Definitely recommend staying here if you will be in the Sedgfield area. A bit if a drive on a dirt road but trust me well worth the drive!

We stayed at this eco reserve for one night after an exhausting day of many errors searching for accommodation for my family. Angelique, the owner went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable, explain all the eco functions and took the time to chat in general. What a lovely and gracious hostess! An immaculate self catering timber...

We enjoyed our cosy chalet in the reserve very much. We appreciated a lot Tom's and Angelica's welcome and discreet care for us. They are providing a fantastic breakfast and all the necessary advices for discovering this interesting area of the Garden Road: beach walks, good seafood restaurants, access to forest parks and to canoeing on the lakes. Seven nights...

Reflections was a spontaneous stop on our drive from Cape Town to Addo. We didn't expect much as we didn't give the pictures on the internet a close look, so we were completely blown away when we got there! Angelique and Tim have been doing a hell of a job. Our little house was beautifully made and excellently equipped for...

Unfortunately we could only stay for one night. It was a bit tricky to find the location in the outback. It's better to have a off-road vehicle to go there. The nice and comfortable houses are in a beautyful surrounding in the middle of nowhere. Tim showed us the fish eagle and the kingfishers next to the house and helped...

A great place to be close to nature, especially bird-life, whilst staying in a spacious and comfortable but eco-friendly chalet. The owner is very welcoming and happy to explain how this unique reserve has been developed from scratch in the last 10 years - it is an initiative which deserves support!

“Nr1 is definitely the best, closest to the lake as well as most private. Perfectly suited for a couples getaway. People with children should rather opt for nr 2 or 4 as they are a bit bigger upstairs as well as closer to a play area.”
