Stayed at the Wallow Guest House for one night late March 2017, for the price I was totally blown away by the standard of accommodation, it was like your own little personal flat with a view to die for. The host was very accommodating without being overbearing. Fabulous place to stay

Great rooms, great view, great owners! Love this place. Will definitely be coming back!!! Maureen and Dave (the owners) are fantastic and made us feel like we were family! Great lounge area with a fire pit for braaing. Happy, the handyman even caught me a scorpion so I could see one in the wild (No scorpions in Manitoba, Canada)

The Wallow Guest House was recommended by some members of a travel club and we booked. We had not realised that it was self catering, but we were able to get meals in Wilderness for our one night stay. Do make certain that you arrive in daylight as it is in a very rural area. The owners were most helpful...

Very nice little guest house on top of hill with beautiful views and addictive peace and quiet. We were so surprised at how clean the place was and the owners were extremely friendly. The linen was spotless, everything worked inside, the bed was amazingly comfortable and the views and atmosphere was really great. This was our most enjoyable holiday ever,...

My husband and I had the craziest day ever. We were tired, beat, exhausted!! When we pulled in our hostess, Moreen, was there to meet us!! She could see were very tired. She made us very comfortable right away so we could just snuggle in for the evening! She did a couple extras to make our stay even nicer! The...

My second stay at The Wallow Guest House. It was short, but i'm not sure that you ever have enough time in the Wildernis (unless you move there) We stayed in the most eastern room, which was fantastic because we got to watch the sunrise from our front terrace in absolute peace. Dave and Moreen are fantastic hosts who will...

We stayed in one of the apartments for three nights as we made our way to Cape Town along the Garden Route. The accommodation is very good, clean, spacious and excellent value. The owners, who live on part of the top floor of what is a very large converted house, are friendly and helpful without interfering. The location is a...

We recently spend 5 nights at the Wallow. The apartment was lovely. Very clean and well equipped. The atmosphere was wonderfully relaxing and I certainly will recommend this guest house to anyone who wants to stay in the Wilderness area. Waking up to such a beautiful view is "food for the soul". Dave and Maureen were friendly and very welcoming.

We were so happy to return to the Wallow for the second year in a row. We just knew that we would be getting a home from home stay at Maureen and Dave's guesthouse. Everything was as we expected. From the friendly reception, the neatness, the comfort, the views, the peace and quiet right down to the walk through the...

We stayed here for one night during our trip from Cape Town to Jo'burg. The Wallow is not close to the centre of Wilderness, but it is in Wilderness Heights. The view from the guesthouse is fantastic. The owner of the place gave us a warm welcome and we booked 2 apartments for 2 persons each. The apartments were huge,...
