We have stayed here many times and it's always good; you are right in the hub of wilderness which is awesome. The beach is only a short walk away and Hopkins steak house at pirates creek is the best steak house ever

I've been staying at this lodge for the last 4 years. The service and rooms are absolutely brilliant. Staff and management are very friendly with smiles and always willing to assist to make the stay more welcome. Home away from home. I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone.

We were travelling a lot when we arrived at this place... We were actually eating at Pomodoro, the italian restaurant just under the lodge, and we didn't notice that there were rooms to rent above. The waiter told us so, once he noticed we were checking the net for a place to sleep. What a surprise to discover a few... More

Perfect place for the traveler. walking distance to all amenities, pubs and restaurant. Set in an awesome part of the world. The Pomodoro restaurant downstairs is of a high standard with great decor. Highly recommended

I stayed here 2 nights. The room is spacious en spotless. Big bathroom with bath and seperate shower. My room had a big balcony from where you could watch the daily life going on in the village. The location is perfect. In the middle of the village. The room has a satelite tv, refrigerator, waterboiler (to make coffee or tea).... More

I travel a lot for work and am always looking for affordable accommodation that is not too fussy, clean and convenient. I have been using this establishment for a few years and always stay here when I am in the area. If you like a relaxed atmosphere where you are left on your own then this is the place for... More

My parents have asked me to review this establishment. They were kindly allowed by Magda to 'carry' their original reservation over to another month, and stayed there on their way from CT to EL. They were greeted with friendliness by the manager and shown to their comfortable bedroom which had a lovely balcony overlooking the busy, "vibey" town atmosphere. My... More

We really liked the room itself, it had a nice looking interior but the problem was that we could not open the windows because it smelled like fire all the time. So it became either very hot in the room or smelly. Either way I enjoyed the dinner and breakfast in the morning. We stayed only one night.

This clearly is only the step child of a restaurant running couple, which is sad as it could be more than nice. The rooms have potential but simply aren't thought through: no table and only old chairs on a big terrace, 70's style fitted-wardrobe... The location has its pros and cons: centrally located but thanks to the road on the... More

I travel frequently threw the Wilderness to Mossel Bay from East London. The Old Post Office is a perfect spot, close to everything. I highly recommend this place. The rates are fantastic as well as the amazing Italian restaurant below.
