This is an amazing place for honeymooners. The chalets are comfortable, spacious, clean, has good facilities, and a spectacular view. John (the host) was fantastic. He made us a delicious dinner and breakfast every morning (including eggs Benedict). Porcupine Pie is also situated in a nice location, because even though it is very secluded, it is not far from some...

Our stay was wonderful! We do not have one negative thing to say. John was the perfect host and an excellent cook! The location is awesome, not too far from town but also far enough to be in the forest with no one in sight!

It is worth to make all the way from Wilderness to Porcupine Pie. The place is fantastic. The Chalets are spacious and nicely furnitured. But the most spectacular thing is the great view from the balcony or even from your bath tub. It is a perfect place for some romantic days - enjoy!

After negotiating the somewhat tricky road we found Porcupine Pie 7 km from civilisation in a world of its own. The views were wonderful, the quietness was very restful and our chalet was very well appointed.

After driving the most scary road we arrived to an absolutely beautiful place with great hosts and nice facilities. The view is breath taking and you feel one with the nature. One of the best places on Garden Route! John cooked us delicious dinner and breakfasts.

We booked in for 3 nights as part of our 2 week honeymoon along the Garden Route. On arrival the host, John, met us and showed us where our chalet was and even kindly offered to help us with our baggage. From the contents of our boot it was fairly obvious that we had been expecting to self cater for...

I fully understand that Porcupine Pie was not suitable for you. We are located on a hill overlooking the Touw River valley and have a central Lapa and 3 separate Chalets. This ensures that our guests enjoy privacy, but it does require a short walk. Our rates are Bed & Breakfast but we do offer dinner most nights by arrangement....

The most amazing views. The lodge is situated close to Wilderness and Knysna, so if you get tired of lounging around, there is still lots to do. This is a jewel that everyone should visit at least once in their life. Thank you to John and Judy for your hospitality!
