This is a great place to stay. The staff were very amenable and happy to consider our meal requests (for a vegetarian and a vegan). The huts are unusual and very homely. We LOVED the fact that hot water bottles were put into our beds while we were at supper. It's a great place to view the Blyde River canyon...

This is a great spot. OK, to get there needs you challenging a long stretch of gravel road and the last part of it is quite though - bu it's more than worth it! The lodge is a fantastic place of tranquility and peace - nicely set at the shores of Blyde river (not very peaceful - crocodiles!). It is...

after or between safaris, this place is a blessed little retreat. Gorgeous bungalow and garden, the surroundings are beautiful, you can just spend time observing many different animals from your balcony or terrace, e.g. the hippos or crocodile by the river in the early morning. Everything is quite, relaxing and beautifully decorated. The staff was helpful and nice, the set...

Renting two houses here, The Owl House and Kingfisher, our little group of eight stayed for two nights. Situated quite off the beaten track, the Lodge has a large leafy garden overlooking the river, a nice pool and ample outdoor spaces for relaxing, having a drink or just taking in the silence. The staff was very attentive and we were...

Nice lodge between kruger and the blyde river canyon. Rooms are nice and clean. Dinner and breakfast are really good and the lodge is situated in the middle of nowhere next to the blyde river. From the tar road you have to drive quite far over a dirt road before you reach the lodge. The dirt road is perfectly drivable...

The lodge is at the end of a bone jarring road that takes a good 20 minutes to navigate although the instructions provided were really clear. The lodge is built next to the river amongst manicured lawns and the pool. The rooms are spacious and have a verandah to watch the world go by. Breakfast and dinner on the terrace...
