The hostess was immature and not very interested in the guest (more in the t.v.) We did not recognized any of the good reviews except the food and the cook: he was good ! Also the dirty road to the Camp was terrible.

9 days together with my family, including three teenagers. Wonderful stay with comfortable bushfeeling. The staff always greets you with warmth and a very high degree of service and helpfulnes. The atmosphere is very relaxed, friendly and cheerful. Excellent food and superb facilities. Both the Kruger park and the Panorama route in close vicinity.

Perfect adventurous accommodation. Kind of family atmosphere. Nice dinner with all guests together! Service was excellent and all staff were friendly! Pool was really good for refreshing after a long drive. Streets to the camp are also dirt roads

We stayed with a group of friends at Panzi for a one night stopover and were very happy we did. It's a more basic rustic camp so this was our "roughing it" experience. We arrived much later than expected but they made a homecooked dinner that hit the spot. The camp is small and very relaxing. We enjoyed chatting with...

In the middle of the bush, outside shower, hardly any space, but, an unforgettable experience. Service and food were superb. We did a morning bushwalk with Jacob and Ruben and ended up in the middle of a group of giraffes. When you are walking this is a wonderfull experience.

Close to Kruger Park--only 30 minutes or so. Loved the "atmosphere" of the area. All the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The chef was fabulous! Has a bit of an "exotic" vibe to the camp because it is tucked away in a treed valley.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Panzi is pronounced pun-zee and means "down below" or "on the ground" in Shangaan. This name was chosen because the camp nestles comfortably in a beautiful wooded gully which is surrounded by magical indigenous trees and bush. The camp is situated in the Guersney Nature, this charming 20-bed thatched-roof lodge is situated only few minutes from the world famous Kruger National Park. Panzi is ideally located for those wanting to explore the area's many attractions. The Guersney reserve has a variety of game, including giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, buffalo and impala, as well as smaller nocturnal animals such as genet, civet, porcupine and honey badger. Panzi is a 20 sleeper lodge consisting of double three quarter beds with en-suite bathroom (toilet, basin and the highlight of Panzi - an open shower). All the units are connected through wooden paths. We have a family unit which is basically two units with a shared deck right next to each other. We also have the normal A-framed units. Each unit has its own private deck and because it is in the middle of the bush, you have absolute privacy. ... more   less
