The lodge is very well located and comfortable and the staff is absolutely fantastic, always very kind and ready to help in all our needs. The Rangers, our guides on the Safari were all very experienced and this made us feel very safe and allowed us enjoy the beauty of the contact with nature and the beautiful animals.

Absolutely everyone working at shawu was accommodating and friendly. They were somehow able to anticipate my needs before I did. The whole experience felt like 50% meditation retreat 50% luxury experience. The food was delicious and they were able to accommodate my dad's dietary restrictions really well. The game drives were magic and just the bush in general is a...

A 2 night trip was arranged as part of a special trip with our Swiss friends who were visiting South Africa and requested to stay in an up market private Game Lodge for a few nights after our 3 night self-catering visit to the Lower Sabie Camp In the Kruger Park. After doing some research and consulting Trip Advisor on...

Great huge room, indoor and outdoor showers, can sit outside on the deck and watch the monkeys, giraffes and other animals. Disappointed with the game drives I think due to lack of rain, not many animals around. But overall a great experience. The reception staff made a few mistakes with a number of people's accounts!!!

The safari was excellent and our tourguide Simon was a 10 star guide! He did everything he could to give us an amazing experience of a lifetime. The sevice of the hotel was not very good, they rushed all meals and served a 3 course meal in 55 minutes! Many of the staff spoke very poor or english and it...

Truly disappointed with Camp Shawu. I have stayed before (3 times) at Shishangeni lodge. This time I chose Camp Sawu to have a different experience. And everything was very much below my expectations. One is hoping to be better instaled then in Shishangeni lodge, due to price being higher than Shonga or Shishangeni lodge. Due to weak finishing of construction,...

I would really like to warn travellers not to waste their time and money at Shishangeni Lodge! For the money there are so many much better lodges that will treat you with care and respect. Our experience was terrible and they really have shown no signs of caring to rectify anything either during our stay or since! The Kruger is...

The lodge is located inside the Kruger park, close to the boarder with Mozambique. The guys working there are all very friendly and always eager to help. We really had a blast: our room was beautifully furnished and very spacious, a plus was the outdoor shower. The meals were all very good: sometimes buffet, some others a la cart, food...

We couldn't have asked for a better safari experience for my wife & I as adults and for my 9 year old son. The lodge is amazing, our room was incredible and backed onto the park so that we could watch the animals even while relaxing or showering, the food was fantastic and our game ranger, Nfondo (hope I spelt...

Focal point: if you come to this lodge in a private concession of Kruger park, of course, the main interest is not focused on reaching the best hotel comfort, but by this lodge you would expect a small step more in my opinion: 1) The furniture in the bathroom are rather in bad conditions and the poufs at the bottom...
