Spent 2 nights here. We were in tent room 102. The outdoor shower was a real treat! Very comfortable. Dining and lodge open area with views. Excellent morning game drive. Within minutes of our drive we saw 2 white rhino near the rode. Many zebra, giraffes, elephants. kudu, blue wildebeest, hippo, cape buffalo and more. Colin our driver/guide was very...

Spent three days here with our South Africa tour group and enjoyed it thoroughly. Our canvas camping cabin was very were equipped with mosquito netting over the beds ( didn't see one mossie!); both an outdoor and an indoor shower, a comfortable front porch from which to sit with a glass of wine after your all day safari tour. The...

I have been coming to Nkambeni for many years and have seen the great changes that have happened since the new owners have taken over. Gone are the days of tired run down tents and camp, it has been totally revitalised new beds, linen and great pillows, better lighting and great paths to the tents. The service standards, friendliness, helpfulness...

The little huts - half canvas and half wood had indoor toilets and both an indoor and outdoor shower. We used only the outdoor shower as the light was so dim in the indoor one that you couldn't see what you were doing. The room was fine, reminded me of going to camp as a kid - only issue was...

I booked 1 night through South African Tourism Company. Nkambeni was shocking. The reason for booking was also for 3 meals on offer – when we arrived at 13.50 pm we were told by the reception staff that lunch was over. Once in our room, we checked guest information. It specifically states that lunch is until 14.30 pm.We tried to...

Half timber half canvas lodges, with ensuite with indoor and outdoor showers. Air Con in room which was clean and spacious, tea and coffee making equipment and a small veranda. Food and drink in the main lodge was very good and it's location of 5 mins drive to Kruger park was equally good. I went as part of an organised...

The bed was comfortable and the canvas "huts" had running water and electricity. The concept was really enjoyable as it made it feel like we had jumped somewhat into the past but without modern amenities. The food was plentiful and enjoyed most of it. I don't like all of the African fare but I appreciate the opportunity to try it....

Located near the Numbi Gate, this lodge is a great base for safaris into the southern part of Kruger National Park. We stayed in a canvas cabin, with locking door, deck with chairs overlooking the Park, a king size bed with mosquito netting, and a bathroom with indoor and outdoor showers. Lighting could be better, as well as internet access....

Our first time to Kruger and Nkambeni was just outside the Numbi Gate. Our tented accommodation was comfortable and clean, food was good and plentiful, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We got to see the big five on our game drives which was a bonus. The whole experience was very enjoyable. Thank you!

Nkambeni was situated right next to the Numbi Gate entrance to Kruger. The tented camps were rustic and gave a great lodge/safari experience. The rooms come with a heater/air conditioner and an indoor shower as well as two outdoor showers, that all have hot water. In the winter, the bathroom gets cold as there is a screen that looks outside....
