We've stayed at Skukuza a few times, and love it every time. The little rondawels are all you need as a base - fridge, kettle, warm shower, comfy beds, airconditioning etc. Not the best if you're looking to 'hang out' - very basic. Lovely restaurant area...More

We had over 20 people in our group so we booked the Wild Fig Guest House and some riverside bungalows. The Wild Fig Guest House itself was adequate but not great as two of the six bedrooms (the two with double beds) can access the...More

This is the first time in years that we opted to stay in Skukuza and we chose their safari tents. The tent was located on the fence and was spacious with glasses, a fridge, a fan, chairs/table and shared ablution facilities. The biggest drawback was...More

Our comfortable bungalow had air-conditioning. The kitchen was outside. When we had dinner on the terrace of the Cattle Baron, we saw a leopard on the other side of the river. Baboons and warthogs were walking around in the restcamp.

Hello! Better sunrise, or Even the night one. You can see lions sleeping in the middle of the street and many night animals you won't see on your own.

We had our own car so we didn't do any of the planned walks/safaris. But I did see the enthusiasm of the other guests to sign up for the night safari. I wanted to do a bush walk but they weren't doing them in that season.

Yes book all tours - we didn't book and was lucky to get seats - many friends missed out on the night drive - all other activities rather book in advance
