We moved from Lower Sabie to Skukuza, the main headquarters. The huts were comfortable, clean and restful, and the area is great for birding if you are a birder. We enjoyed our stay here very much. The main visitors' center is not far, and is well-equipped with anything you might need. The restaurant was nice, much fancier than expected, and...

A very pleasant experience at Skukuza Rest Camp. A pleasure to stop and spend time there. The facilities were clean, shop staff were friendly and food at the restaurant was good. A relaxing break between drives.

The beds are tough and the facilities are run down but the location is good. I ate at the restaurant three straight days and didn't have a single good meal. Elephants frequent the river right next to the camp.

This camp is in a terrible state. The huts are old, dingy, no room to manoeuvre, and there was a terrible smell in the bathroom we had. The fridge is outside, as it is in other camps but usually there is a door across it. Not in Skukuza, so when we returned from an early morning drive, the monkeys had...

We enjoyed an excellent overnight stay at skukuza rest camp, BD3 no 212 very clean and well maintained- both outside and inside.we liked that the fridge was in the room, only problem is the aircon was almost falling off the wall and the lack of a microwave.

Staying in the Kruger national parks is a excitement on itself. So regardless of which restcamp you choose, you go there for the animals and game drives. The rooms are little basic houses with everything you need. You can park the car next to your house, something we find very handy! The staff was very friendly and the different shops...

This camp provided the best in-camp activities such as the museum and the dog memorial which literally made me cry. The shop is the biggest out of all of the other camps and there are more people. Not the best for animal spotting unfortunately. No coffee and tea is provided in the Rondavels so you have to go to the...

This is by far my favorite rest camp. The upgrades to the restaurant and the cafe have been great. Great food and access. The water view is excellent. At night you may even see a loris in the trees or a bush baby. Staff was great and helpful. Cannot wait to return

After a day in the Kruger Savannah, watching wild animals of all sizes and nature we landed in the Skukuza Rest Camp. The camp is cleverly designed with small chalets scattered with in the secure Rest Camp. Although the chalets are small they are cozy and well groomed. Our hut was in a short distance from the "center" area where...

Jan first week: For our visit to Kruger, we stayed at the Skukuza Rest Camp. This is a very nice camp with all the requirements. They have a gas station as well. The houses are round shaped with a lounge area outside the room. The rooms are quite basic. Would have liked the bathrooms to be bigger especially the shower...
