I managed to book a river view bungalow close to the restaurant and shop. Good size porch and view of the river. The stove and fridge are outside. This makes for a cool start to the day for breakfast. The bungalow is surrounded by grass which is better than the normal bungalows. This room had a TV which I didn't...

The Skukuza is the biggest camp a Kruger. The view of the Sabie is amazing. There are a lot of places to sit and enjoy the view or you can also chose the restaurants terrace. We found the restaurant Cattle Baron much nicer than in the other camps we stayed (full of burger and pizza chains). But this is probably...

Definitely the busiest Kruger park rest camp, but it is so close to a lot of great game viewing. The accommodations are comfortable, the staff are friendly and the service is decent. There are lots of activities to do if you plan ahead. There are two pools which are good for a warm dip after a day of game viewing....

We planned our stay at Skukuza so we could play golf - the 9 -hole course at Lake Panic within the KNP. As it is reputedly the biggest and busiest camp we had reservations about camping there. However it was much better than anticipated. The camp sites are pretty grim - been there a long time so the ground is...

The huts are stylish by design and spacious enough for what you need. A big bed, a well sized bathroom (you have a sink in the main quarters. Outside is a baboon-proof kitchen and a braai with a table and two chairs. You also have your own parking. Don't worry about supplies as there is a well stocked supermarket and...

The rondaval was clean and functional and we had a screened in porch.. We did not BBQ, but our neighbors did. The camp has adequate shopping and dining options, and some activities. An entirely pleasant stay. I would rather stay more to the interior of the park, but I can see that Skukuza has some logistical advantages for some visitors.

Skukuzas rondavel huts are nice, but Skukuza Restcamp has these large three bed tents on a concrete slab with full rain protection. These are marvelous standing room tents with a small refrigerator and braii (barbeque grill) outside. I have stayed in them on two occasions and loved the experience each time. In the middle of the night, you will hear...

A great place to stay in an authentic rondavel. Clean and tidy, with tea/coffee making facilities, as well as a place to have a braii. The shop is great although the prices were high. The beds were comfy and the beds were made each day. The views from the area near the shops and restaurant were fantastic, including a herd...

This is THE place to stay in Kruger if you are looking for value and ease of access to the wildlife. The accommodation is simple but adequate, the bars, restaurants, etc, are OK, and the location is awesome. Stay here and save a lot on some of the highly-priced alternatives.

The accommodation was pretty basic and spacious, we stayed in one of the 6 sleeper units. The units are very old fashioned and have probably not been upgraded in decades. The local restaurant was very good and the food of an exceptional quality. The game drives were great and we had sighting of 5 lions t one of the local...
