We really loved this place. It is in a remote part of Kruger. You will not see a lot of other guided groups on your safaris. You do two per day. One in the morning and another in the evening. The food was amazing! Our...More

It was our second time at Pafuri Camp. We did not think that we could replicate our first, most magical experience, but Pafuri keeps on giving! Yet again we were greeted like long lost friends by the staff, who did their utmost to make our...More

Return Africa's Pafuri Camp is a paradise in northern Kruger. The luxury tents and the big deck overlook the Luvuvhu River, which has an abundance of wildlife. The staff is friendly and professional and Bongani is an incredible guide! He has vast knowledge of the...More

Magical location with the 'tents' overlooking the river with lots of wildlife viewing from your balcony. This is our idea of a tenting holiday! Food was excellent and unexpected in terms of the location.

My boyfriend and I had a very nice stay here over my birthday. The accommodations were, to me, second-to-none. I loved how private our "tent" was! The staff were friendly and thoughtful, and polite. The location is secluded; it's not traditionally scenic, but most people...More

Thanks for your question. Generally, Pafuri starts to warm up from September and in October temperatures get up to the mid to high 30's in the day. We use YR Weather online to check the weather forecast. But we have also... More

We are staying at a hotel south of Polokwane for one night (originally wanted two nights but fully booked for the second night) so we have booked a hotel at Musina which means we are nearer to the top of the KNP. We are then booked into Pafuri Camp for three nights and would like to know whether Pafuri Camp is accessible from Pafuri Gate as our directions are from Punda Maria Gate to Pafuri Camp. We are self driving so do you know the travelling times from Musina via Punda Maria to Pafuri Gate and the travelling times from Musina via Pafuri Gate to Pafuri Camp? After Pafuri Camp we are travelling south and have booked into rest camps at Shingwedzi, Mopani, Olifants, Satara and Skukuza exiting at Paul Kruger Gate and flying out of Neilspurit to Cape Town. We have visited the southern part of the KNP previously but entered and exited via Paul Kruger Gate so the northern/central part of KNP is all very new to us. Any advice would be really appreciated
