We are a family of 2 adults and 2 young kids looking for a stop enroute from Grand Canyon to Joshua Tree. Unable to get into our usual State or National Park we chose RV Islander Resort. We loved staying here - a wonderful first impression being met at the entrance and reception staff so friendly . We were situated...

We stayed here for two nights and enjoyed it. The location is terrific and is right across the London Bridge and is lakefront. The sites are large and well kept. The grounds are nicely landscaped and easy to maneuver. We enjoyed the pool and nature walk and meeting with the many snowbirds we ran across. They do not offer cable...

We stayed 2 nights, payed for a site with a view. The amenities were good, the park is beautifully maintained. Once we checked in we didn't see a worker anywhere except the guard shack. Office is only open till 5. It felt like we were left In the middle of nowhere with not another sole in sight. The park has...

Thank you for your review of Islander Resort. The Resort is peaceful and quiet this time of year as our summer guests are completing their stay and our winter guests have yet to arrive. The weather is also ideal! April is another month of peace and quiet, during which we enjoy the beautiful spring weather as the boating season begins...

First impressions are so important, and the Islander RV Resort stands up to the test very well. The multiple lanes for check-in made it easy, and the staff made it a pleasure. The only draw back for some might be that there was no guide to lead you to your site, but it was very easy to find it after...

We're younger and enjoy meeting people our age, so this wasn't the place for us. But we enjoyed it. It's well kept. But we did feel our rv was a bit unstable on the gravel and hence rocked a lot in the wind or when people walked around. Perhaps some larger pads under the jack would have helped, but just...

Stayed a few days at the Islander RV Resort. Staff helpful and pleasant. Great weather for March, high 80s.. Out site was #31, part of a group of 4. Overlooked the Lake and surrounding area. Great view for sure, but you pay for it. We choose where we want to be, a great view is worth the rate charged. This...

We enjoyed the resort very much. The residents of the park were happy and very friendly. The facilities are complete and in good repair. The area nearby was very pretty and active. The bike rides and walks are abundant. Boats everywhere. A ferry across the lake to California casino. Boats tours up to the canyon are available. There is plenty...

Stopped here for a 12 night visit on our way from Death Valley to Tucson-wanted to explore the area. We had a pull through-easy to get in and out of a clean spot with a concrete patio area in our fifth wheel. Lots of snowbirds, our neighbors were friendly and helpful, letting us know about different activities in the park...

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on your recent stay at the Islander Resort. We are pleased that your stay was a nice one, even without much Wifi use.....There is a lot to do right here in the Resort and on the Island itself. We look forward to seeing you again soon.

RV sites are nice and spacious, and bathrooms are very clean and first-rate. The staff is very helpful. Lots of very high-end diesel pushers and snowbirds. Some come for the winter and stay in the park a long time. There's a sense of community among them and they're all very friendly. Staying in a trailer for just a few nights...
