A really beautiful and luxoriuos place to stay in! The rooms are clean and very stylish! Especially the garden is so beautifull! The staff was great and thanks to Klaus the owner of the House for his warm welcome! We definatelly recommend this place to everyone! Thanks for all, Andy and Niki from Germany! :)

Great relaxing weekend at Abangane Lodge in Hazyview, a true gem, run by wonderful hosts. The beautiful views over the valley, and the warm hospitality make you relax from the moment you arrive. The rooms are also well equipped with lovely beds and great showers. Lots to do in the area..

Super reception, super rooms and super meal. Our only regret was that we didn't stay longer. This is a real gem just outside Hazyview. The location has a wonderful view, is tranquil, but yet convenient. From here day trips to the Kruger, Pilgrim's rest or Blyde River Canyon are all possible and easy. The food was excellent and beautifully presented...

Exquisite surroundings, beautiful finishes, heavenly beds, excellent breakfast, superb service, tranquil surroundings......certainly a GEM!! I loved every second. I could really relax undisturbed, without hearing anything remotely disturbing(except my colleagues disastrous coughing next door.....but that was non of Abanganes doing! :-) Thank you, Ridwaan and Klaus, for all the personal touches, fresh linen, sparkling rooms and lovely pool surroundings, where...

Lovely grounds, great service, georgeous dogs. Dinner was very good, very large portion....sorry I couldn't finish it! Very peaceful surroundings and a nice stopover. I do think the tripadvisor page builds expectations beyond the delivery of the lodge though. We had one gripe....it was a scorching heatwave when we were there and one of our friends aircon in the room...

Had a very enjoyable stay for 4 nights here. It's on the Sabie Road about 2km from town and the entrance was easy to find. Keep a note of the entry code for the gate though as there is no contact number on the sign & I'd forgotten, so a trip back into town was needed to find a tourist...

We loved our night at Abangane and wish we had time to stay longer. We were warmly welcomed by Klaus, Ridwaan (and their 4 friendly dogs) and stayed in Room 6 which was quiet and spotlessly clean with a share of the communal terrace. As we had flown in from Cape Town that morning our only aim was to laze...

If you can't afford to stay in a private reserve, this is the next best thing. The lodge is about 20 minutes from Kruger and close to numerous attractions in Hazyview-elephant interactions, other parks and scenic views. (In fact, I'd recommend a day spent exploring the area outside the park, if you can.) The pool, grounds and our room were...

We booked a few nights at Abangane based on Tripadvisor reviews, and couldn't see what all the fuss was about. Relative to other places we stayed in, the service was average, food okay but not particularly imaginative, breakfasts unimpressive (not much choice, tinned fruit, small portions), and room and bathroom large but without character. Service was at times a little...

Dear LeopardLx We are very sorry to hear that we have not met your expectations. Our breakfasts are always continental buffet style with a variety of 4-6 different breads (partially home baked), bread rolls, cereals, muesli, various cold meats, smoked salmon, cheeses, fresh fruit basket as well as tinned fruits, yoghurts and different fruit juices. Everything gets filled up when...

The Lodge is highly regarded for its peaceful, tranquil surroundings and its ability to provide the highest quality of service.
