If you don't have a lot of time to spend in St. Lucia, this definitely is the perfect place to stay. First of all, the host will share all his knowledge as a guide to make your stay worthwhile. He gave us a lot of information about the Isimangaliso wetland park, and when we decided to drive through the park...

There are 2 very cute/friendly dogs there as well. Butter and Donkey. We got lots of information from the owner about st....

Higly recommended! We stayed at the Hornbill House for 2 nights in an amazing room. It had a double bed and a bunk bed for our daughter, a little balcony and a perfect bathroom. The owner of the guesthouse is also the owner of Shakabarker Tours. We booked the Eastern Shore Safari with them and we could hop inn our...

I stayed for 4 nights in the Hornbill house and it was a great experience. Many choices at breakfast, tidy and clean rooms with a nice ambiance. I loved the dogs who cruise around the house, they are very friendly and well educated :). The tours the staff organized and executed were really awesome. They are very knowledgeble and you...

I stayed three nights at the Hornbill B&B in St Lucia from the 8th to the 11th November 2015. I enjoyed my stay & would go back - if/when I go to St Lucia again. The staff were efficient & friendly. A big plus for me was that they have a bore hole so we always had water & they...

We booked a room at the marlin lodge for 3 nights after doing research on tripadvisor and airbnb. After the payment and confirmation email from airbnb we received a message from the host (sonet) that her place was not available. She told us she would find us another place, but she could not tell us which place it was yet,...

Small scale, intimate and beautiful setting. The rooms are clean and the staff is friendly, as are the two dogs that walk around the house. The knowledgeable owner, Kian, runs a tour company and going on some of these tours is definitely recommended! Get on a boat and go see hippos and crocodiles (even bull sharks if you're lucky), take...

We were welcomed and treated like old friends at the Hornbill House. The staff members are extremely friendly and accommodating. They arranged all our tours for us, and were happy to change them around to accommodate the weather and give us the best possible experience. They recommended restaurants and local sightseeing highlights, and cooked us eggs to order in the...

We stayed for three nights and found Hornbill House to be very comfortable and excellent value for money. The B&B is a short distance away from the main street, so it's very quiet, but still within walking distance. We also booked a tour of through the affiliated tour company (ShakaBarker) that was very good.

Having arrived slightly late, we were welcomed by (as it turned out later) by a tour guide who was less than knowledgeable. Gladly, we got a much better impression of this Bed & Breakfast in the course of the next two days. One is accommodated in the host's house which might be off-putting for some. However, as the only significant...
