I was here for two nights and two days with my whole family! What an experience. Staff was amazing and the food was great! Our game ranger Darrel who took us on 4 game reserve rides was such a great guy, we learnt so much from him! Made our whole trip that he went out of his way for us...

The rooms are a very nice size but the 4 rooms we had were invaded by some kind of army worm that doesn't die with bug spray. I kept all my clothes in the suitcase zipped up in fear of those things getting on my clothes. The infestation is so bad they had the door and window jams lined with...

Thanks for sharing your Black Rhino Game Lodge experience. We're sorry to hear that your stay was spoiled by caterpillars and would like to assure you - and all our guests - that while we do see slightly more insects in the summer, and after the rains (as you might expect) - situations like the one you describe here are...

We visited in January 2017 and were hoping that our teenage kids would be able to see some wildlife and experience african hospitality. The Black Rhino far exceeded our expectations. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and welcome. A special thanks to Eva, Thabu, Precious and the other staff for...

This is a private lodge, which gives guests exclusivity and tranquility. It was a big difference from the big lodges south of Pilanesberg that are always packed with tourists. In here you feel like you've been hidden in the jungle. There was a large bull elephant at the waterhole just as we arrived! On much better days they said they...

We visited as part of a group on two week journey in South Africa. The accommodation was excellent, nice design, comfortable rooms, good beds. Very spacy! We went on two morning and two afternoon safari and was very lucky with seeing a lot of animals, despite a bit of rain on two of the occasions. The guides, Fiona and Marcus...

The rooms in the lodge are lovely but the food was very average compared to our experience in Madikwe, especially as both places were the same price. The food was all buffet and not very imaginative with it. The breakfast was very basic. The staff were very nice. The drives were good but not as good as Madikwe, not just...

The lodge is very pretty and located in a reserve opened to the Pilansberg. It is very pretty and in a nice location, overlooking a small dam. Rooms very spacious and beautiful, each with shower, bath and outside shower. No internet in rooms and slow in the restaurant area... but it does not matter when you are in the bush!!!...
