Very good place to start exploring African resorts and game drives. Rooms are very nice, big and safe! As in more wild parks' lodges you may see snakes on your way. Great food, nice pool overlooking bush. Animals come very close to fence. We were not lucky with weather, it was raining 2 days out of three. We did three...

This is a typical tourist rip off hotel. For cca 6000 ZAR/400€ per standard room per night with dinner, you could get very luxurious hotel anywhere around the world. This is just a mediocre hotel, with mediocre service. Rooms are worn off, with traces of abandoness, few bulbs broken, no wine glasses, fridge not cold enough and without knob for...

This is my "go to" place when i need to unwind. Altho i have not stayed at the Lodge, i have been lucky enough to stay in the Time Share chalets on numerous occasions. These are set close to the electrical fence set around a U shaped area which has a waterhole so twice a day, the animals come to...

We own timeshare at Bakubung and go there every year. For us it is a fantastic experience. We saw a lion kill a few years ago while braaing! It is a truly special place to get closer to nature. Highly recommended.

Stopped into the lodge for buffet lunch prior to exploring the park. Top quality food, relaxed atmosphere, great view and there was an impala and warthogs in the foreground just beyond the fence bringing the experience to the table! Highly recommended

Wow, this an amazing place to stay and take a Safari. From our back patio we could watch the elephants play and many other animals run free. Our first night there, we took a safari and saw giraffes, lions, rhinos, hippo, wildabeasts, zebras, deer, a leopard, and many other animals. The breakfast buffet was excellant and you enjoyed your food...

Bakubung Bush Lodge is on the edge of the game reserve and even before you go on a game drive we saw warthogs, jackals and Kudus. The lodge we stayed in had two bedrooms, a kitchen and living/dining room. There was BBQ equipment, a table and fabulous views outside. There were also monkeys and a wide variety of birds. You...

180 degrees view of the bush, hills animals etc. next to the waterhole. Relax and watch the animals come to drink. Elephants playing in the waterhole. Beautiful swimming pool. All the amenities you need. Superb service and accommodation. They've earned their star rating.
