The theme is great and seems to really fit the surroundings. It did feel in appearance like palace. Rooms worked just fine but were a little dated. I think hotel is 20Y old and would say our basic room felt same. However everything worked fine and it was quiet and spacious. The breakfast buffet was just ok, average. I have...

The hotel itself and the general location and surrounds are lovely, however we were very disappointed by the actions of many of the staff. Many people in our conference party including us had items stolen from their rooms and most of us were overcharged, double charged and had to fight to have correct change issued when paying. Staff would constantly...

As always the Palace never disappoints. Superb dining. Superb service. A grand venue for a breakaway. The entire Sun City complex is a treat to visit. Definitely worth the spoil. Hope the sun comes out soon! Truly a wonderful experience. Book!

An amazing place to stay if you looking to be pampered!stayed here with my partner and was blown away with the hotel!a few minor issues would be the shuttle bus service and lack of knowledge from the other establishments within the resort. Insist on a private shuttle/van as the drivers of the hotel is much more knowledgeable than the shuttle...

Was there for 2 nights . The first sight of d hotel was truly awesome . The sculptures, the artificial rock structures , the general architecture were really impressive but the room was disappointing more so the bathroom . Expected a lot better frm a hotel touted as one of the best in the world. The morning breakfast however compensated...

I have always wanted to visit the Palace, but it is extremely expensive, so really wanted to save it for a special occasion. When I eventually decided to just pay the exuberant fees, I obviously expected to be blown away. Upon arrival, we were welcomed by the staff, our car was taken by the valet service and our luggage were...

This is definitely a must if you are travelling in SA. I was put off visiting as I thought that Sun City was a casino type place. I was so wrong and only discovered this after watching the movie Blended. It was an amazingly sumptuous place, like an African Atlantis with a touch of Disney. having said that, the rooms...

Spent two nights there with my family. You que for breakfast, it's hard to find beds at the pool and the valley of the waves is inaccessible for the amount of people present. Rooms are dirty and staff except for the ones welcoming not all that professional. Ups almost forgot elevators take for ever to come.
