This small boutique hotel is one of the most relaxing and friendly places we have stayed in our time in South Africa. The house is beautifully styled to ensure your comfort and relaxation and the food and hospitality match. The staff go the extra mile to ensure you feel welcomed and at home with extra touches such as free items...

Thank you for taking the time to review us. We try to make it as comfortable and homely as we possibly can.

We recently spent 6 nights at this brilliant boutique hotel. It may be small in size, but it packs a punch in hospitality and friendliness. From cheerful and unfailingly helpful and friendly staff (car guard to front desk to breakfast servers to night staff), to the stunning view, to the delicious food and easy bar service on offer, to the...

Thank you so much, i will pass on the compliments to the team. I'm very glad you also mentioned the lack of wind, Bantry Bay is the only place in Cape Town you will find 'wind free' throughout the summer season.

Great location, view & staff! We came for our son's wedding and enjoyed the hotel before we flew out to go home. Very nice clean rooms and had salads for lunch at the hotel. All worked out beautifully

This small boutique hotel is very special...for its spectacular position overlooking the sea but away from the busy bustle of Cape Town, and also for its beautiful ambiance, and then also its extremely good service and attention to guests. An outstanding breakfast offering and dinners by arrangement. We could not have been more pleased and will doubtless return.

We are extremely fortunate to have such an incredible view and it's great to hear that we could compliment it with our service. Please make sure you do return.

This place is cozy and exclusive, top service. The penthouse was so nice, hard to leave. I usually will search for a month when searching for a place to stay. For Cape Town I looked at most of the hotels, balancing cost and accommodations, this place really stood out.

52 De Wet is an impressive modern residence that has been converted into a hotel or more accurately a B&B. The house is located in an upmarket residential area on the side of a steep hill. The views are over the sea and are spectacular. There is limited parking available but the security guard is helpful in locating a space....

Edward. Thank you for the review of your 1 night stay with us @52, it's a real shame that you were unable to join us for our fine dining dinner or enjoy any of the snacks that we offer throughout the day (no pre order required), along with afternoon tea or the complimentary snacks during sunset. I would have hoped...

52 De Wet is extremely popular and is often sold out because it only has 8 rooms. Yes, it may be pricey, but the service and location of this place makes up for it. The pool view is excellent on a sunny day. The only draw back might be that it's up on a hill. But Uber's pretty affordable in...

Thank you so much for taking the time to review us. The recent rise of Uber status in Cape Town has made life on the hills of Bantry Bay far easier.

We stayed at 52 De Wet for 4 nights to unwind from our journey from the UK & found it the perfect place to stay. The setting looking across Bantry Bay was amazing. The staff couldn't have been more helpful & it was like staying in a private house rather than a hotel. Breakfast was superb with lots of choice...

what a fantastic location to completely unwind with fantastic view over the ocean. Not only was the service fantastic, fabulous spa but to top it all we were able to relax in the plunge pool and watch pods of dolphins and whales swimming past.
