Chic with all the meaning of the word
What a place! I mean really.. where to start? Rooms, premises, views , art, pool, it’s a museum in the making. I visited a number of museums In Cape Town and they were lame in comparison. I didn’t do my homework in coming to Cape Town and all the good restaurants were fully booked. I couldn’t find a table nowhere. It didn’t matter because the food at the Ellerman house was fantastic! Great experience. I’ll be back for sure

Luxury 5 stars
Very atmospheric historic house which offers beautiful views of the ocean. Service first class and our two night stay was extremely relaxing. The staff couldn’t do enough to accommodate us. Very impressive art gallery within the property and the wine tasting tour of the cellar was very informative. We would definitely stay here again. Loved it.

An Oasis in the City!
I was attending the wedding for Mr/s Kosers which take please over 4 days. Everyday was so well thought of.Rooms were Stylish and spacious everythingg you need is a room was there luxury beyond. Been to the Spa and Sade gave mr the Best Facial ever. It's understandable this this is such highly Rated Private ART Hotel ot.

Ellerman house excellence!
This needs to be your Cape town go too. Away from the crowds but close enough to everything. Great staff , food and the best South African art collection to browse as well. Views are to die for! I'll be back for sure!

It is a hotel or a house ? What about room service ?
House. The service is second to none. There is a pantry that you can get a wide assortment of food from anytime. When we were at the pool, the staff brought by snacks and drinks. It is a wonderful place to stay.

What is the hotel like for families with children?
Dear Becky Our Villa One is the only villa where we welcome children of all ages and is perfect for families travelling together. We have an outstanding Concierge service who can arrange tours and outings such as the Two Oceans Aquarium, snorkelling with seals, whale watching, tours to see penguins, horse riding etc. Feel free to let me know if you have any further questions and I'll be happy to help. Dear Bonnie We would love to have you for your very special celebration. We have 5 different room categories and would suggest the following three to be the most romantic. Deluxe Spa Rooms (shared deck and pool with an ocean view), Deluxe House Room (private balcony and ocean view), Ellerman House Suite (Private balcony, separate lounge and dining area with an ocean view). We are currently running a Honeymoon Promotion at Ellerman House. If you book a minimum of 4 nights in a Deluxe House Room category, 6 months prior to arrival, you will receive a 20% discount on your accommodation. If you book less than 6 months prior to arrival you will receive a 10% discount on accommodation, a 60 minute couples massage, canapés and sparkling wine followed by a three course meal paired with wine and a bottle of French Champagne. Hi Yael The restaurant at Ellerman House is open exclusively to guests staying at the hotel. The #3 Creation that was referred to are gift vouchers that people can buy to experience different Relais & Chateaux properties around the world. Ellerman offered these Creation Vouchers during April 2013 - April 2014. We are still a part of Relais & Chateaux but the promotion regarding the Ellerman House vouchers have expired.
