this place is a good place where to stop on a trip on the major highway 1 in South Africa. I enjoyed the stay, the Greek Room was very nice. The breakfast pleasant and the conversations with the owner very, very pleasant.

Value for a night..arrived late evening, place had an old rustic feel to it (not bad, if you like that sort of thing) - rooms were spacious, kids single beds were comfy and beddings et al clean.. fact that the double bed lies between the main door and kids room gives you the impression of safety :-) - not to...

Pleasant room and very secure parking. Friendly staff, good breakfast. Neither restaurant nor bar were open during our stay, but we were only guests and it was the beginning of the week. Options for evening food are limited in the town.

Ye Olde Thatch was clean, and comfortable, and is in the perfect location if you are driving from KZN to CT and need to stop over night. Friendly staff, good wifi, and ate a delicious meal at Karushi, no complaints, and highly recommended!

The B & B was an experience that saw us receiving helpful and welcoming service and we strongly felt that this was real value for money that involved no hassle. Highly recommended as a break to a long and tiring journey.

Disappointed, having read earlier reviews our expectations were far to high, especially where the food was concerned. The room was comfortable and clean, management was friendly and helpful and gardens eclectic. For dinner we had the rump steak that was recommended, it will rate in the Top 10 toughest steaks we have ever eaten. It was a Monday evening and...

What a delightful, quaint little gem. A warm welcome from Jacques who showed us to our room, The Greek, with a double bed and bunk bed. All well appointed with a spacious bathroom with both a shower and bath. Dinner - delicious hake and chips followed by Jacques signature Olive ice-cream, surprisingly spectacular. A very good reason to stop over.

The owner was quite friendly and the place is well located. The Coffee was excellent and above all it was free! We had a Prawns dish and it was quite delicious. Room was little run-down. same goes for the bathroom. Sometimes, it will difficult to run a hotel just only with the hospitality.
