Its the second time we have stayed at Lemoenfontein and it was just as good as the first time. Beautiful setting quiet and tranquil. Staff are excellent and accommodating. A real hearty home cooked meal for dinner we will be back when we pass through again.

Driving from Joburg to Cape Town or vice versa we always found Lemoenfontein the place to stay. It is a friendly place with magnificent views of the Karoo. We can definetely recommend to stay at Lemoenfontein.

Characterful and delightful place for a stopover on our way to Lesotho from Cape Town. Saw impala as we drove from the main road. Evening meal on the veranda was very good. Large pool and area to relax in. Enjoyed a cooling swim. Friendly staff.

Super welcome by the hosts with pleasing, comfortable accommodation. Set at the foot of the mountain and far enough from the N1 to provide peace and quiet. Dine on the veranda looking out over the Karoo and imagine just how hard the original settlers must have found the trek .Friendly atmosphere and departed fully refreshed and ready for the rest...

This was the second time we stayed there and it was lovely. Highly recommendable if you want to stay away from the tourist crowd. Very kind staff. From the terrace we could see giraffes. It is the perfect place to stay as e.g. a starting point to George. Awsome scenery when you reach the mountains/

A lovely place to break your journey after a days travelling. The rooms are fantastic and the terrace where meals are served is so peaceful and romantic. We also loved the loungers to relax in around the pool.

Unfortunately we only stayed 1 night and did not have lunch at Lemoenfontein. The place is extremely charming and clean. If you don't want to stay direct in the park, it is THE place to stay. Just note that the entrance of the park is about 20 km (1/2 hour) from the lodge.

Very relaxing stay! We stopped over at Lemoenfontein on our way from Pretoria to Hermanus, so we were very tired. The swimming pool was just what we needed and the dinner was amazing! The service was impeccable! A little bit more pricy than we usually go for, but worth it, we will definitely stay here again.

We visited twice, for one night, a week apart and will return every year when we travel from Cape Town to the Eastern Cape, and on the return trip. Our disappointment was that we could only stay one night each time, because there is so much more we can experience on a longer stay, like a game drive. We did...
