We spent 6 nights here in February 2016 with a group of 8 friends while celebrating our wedding in Cape Town. Very well located and beautiful setting with an inviting big deck and swimming pool. Not the usual upmarket Camps Bay place, but it suited us very well for our needs. The suites are a little dated and rustic, but... More

Look, it is a cheap place and you get what you pay for I guess. Up sides: - Good location (Camps Bay is one of the prettier and safer suburbs of Cape Town, surrounded by restaurants and beaches); - Cheap accomodation; - Quaint, and uniquely-styled; - Good wifi Down sides: - Photos online aren't an accurate representation; - Non-existent customer... My wife Michaela and I, along with our special needs adult son stayed in Studio C for three weeks in September of last year. This is our second visit to Camps Bay Glen. We returned to this location because we enjoy the rustic aspect of this property, the amazing flora, comfortable and spacious floor plan, and the amazing views of Camps Bay from the spacious deck. Our daughter was married in Cape Town in December. Following the wedding, we moved to this location for... More

I've been staying at Camps Bay Glen with my parents once, and they have been there twice and we really like this place. The place offers cozy rooms, not exessive luxury but a nice place to use as the base for exploring Cape Town. Outside the rooms are several Places to kick back and relax, either with a good book... First, I like to say me and my three friends have some mixed feelings about our stay at Campsbay Glen studio A - MAIN HOUSE. Overall, we felt at home and safe in the house during our vacation. Like the description and photos on the site, the place has a quite atmosphere in the nature and the sea view is... More

I took my grandkids and my kids on a trip to South Africa on safari and a week in Cape town. Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Campsbayglen is a little gem on the edge of a nature reserve "Glen". A beautiful rustic, down to earth natural setting with a unique river & wild waterfalls flowing through the garden that has a leafy green forest feel at the river which is a great place to cool down after the heat and sun of the pool area. We also have a rustic hammock lounge at the giant pool to laze around in and relax and with sun beds around the pool. There is an easy walk to the beach and to do Table mountain hikes. An exquisite and unique feel of nature and beauty is Campsbayglen. we are a rustic earthy place with no Stars. We try to give a sense of maximum privacy by breaking the garden and pool areas into different parts and places for people. We even have a sleeper day bed over the river. Book the whole house or go for a self catering studio. THERE ARE 3 INDEPENDENT, Own Entrance self catering studio Apartments,- Each is fully equipped for self catering and with own toilet shower & toilet. STUDIO A - MAIN HOUSE. Has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms & kitchen and lounge and its best space is the huge terrace with sea views. Studio B and C are smaller & ideal for couples or small family's or friends. See the pictures. Best rates are through our official Campsbayglen website direct. I do give discounts & will happily advise on travel. I am a fanatical lover of nature and know a lot about South Africa. ... more   less
