Wonderful stay - Airport transfer arranged for us - A cup of tea & room ready on arrival (even though we arrived at 10.30am) - Good location - about 5 mins taxi ride to The Waterfront, although we enjoyed the walk on the sea front via a lovely park. The room was tastefully decorated with a personal touch of fresh...

Modern ultra-clean bathroom with shower/toilet. This is an old restored colonial home managed by a British lady and local staff. She (Rachel) was an excellent hostess who offered invaluable...

Everything was perfect. We felt very welcome from the minute we arrived. Rachel and her team are the best! The rooms are very comfortable and the whole atmosphere is very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast is really good! From the guesthouse you can easily explore all important sights of Cape Town.

We have stayed at Kingslyn on a few occasions and since day one have been treated like VIP's. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Everyone knows your name and remembers all about you from the previous visit. The homely feel and divine breakfast in a beautidul sun room is hard to beat.

Great rooms, service, breakfast and facilities. Location can be a bit off and the price on the high side, but Kingslyn not just worth your hard earned Rands, it's worth the detour. We couldn't have had a more lovely stay in Cape Town.

“The Kingslyn has about 6 rooms. We had room 6 (the largest suite). Apart from the occasional creaking from next room's floorboards, the place was quiet. Rooms have aircon and ceiling fan. The property is on a corner and pretty sheltered so cannot see it getting too warm. All rooms are well furnished with good beds and amenities. Cannot say any more than that, except to say with the Rand at about 17 to the £, it is exceptional value.”
