Ann and Kris are wonderful people. Each year when we visit Cape Town, we stay at their Guesthouse. We have been their many times. Each time it feels like coming home. They make you feel part of the family.

We stayed for 4 nights in Feb. After a 3 hour drive fron Gansbaai, we arrived and were shown to our ' de luxe' rooms. They were by means de -luxe, we had a room on the top floor, which was clean and nice enough, although the bathroom was nice, the bedroom was a bit tired. Our freinds shown to... More

This felt like home away from home. Friendly and very helpful owners, great breakfast food, clean and comfortable room, breakfast on the verandah, well-located close to town. I can't stress enough how helpful owners Ann and Kris were with connections, even to medical services, suggestions for dining, directions to our daily destinations. Lovely people.

The beautiful house has been renovated by Kris to be luxurious and homey at the same time - quite a trick. The atmosphere is friendly, welcoming and professional. Ann and... More

Situated in a residential quiet area very near to the city centre we enjoyed the spectacular views from our room, during breakfast (sumptious, count extra time) and a relaxing stay at the swimming pool. Inside, you get submerged in the warm, colonial contemporary style. Great and impeccable furnished rooms and a huge living/reading-room where one can easily spend several hours... More

As suggested by its name, the "Tafelberg Guesthouse" is situated on the slopes of Table Mountain and offers an amazing view on the city bowl of Cape Town. Ever since we visited South Africa for the first time some 6 years ago, this beautiful guesthouse has to be on our list and always feels like a real "Home-away-from-Home"! Having breakfast... More
