Our group stayed for 1 month and had the most wonderful stay at St. Bedes. It's clean, pretty, safe and central and Dion's hospitality is unrivalled. I will definitely be coming back here to stay again. Thank you again Dion for a wonderful stay! X

Nestled in the back streets between Sea Point and Green Point, is a row of old style terraced houses that look down over the bay. Each terraced house contains three separate ensuite bedrooms plus a communal fully equipped kitchen/dining room and front verandah. St Bedes oozes charm, which is enhanced by the delightful cottage garden that runs the length of...

I stayed here with a friend from sunday till thursday. We were heartily received and in general the atmosphere was nice. The crew was a jolly lot and they were relaxed about their work, but informative of anything that was going on. We stayed in the Karoo room, an apartment behind the house which was a cow-keeping area in the...

I was a part of a wedding party, and my accommodation was paid for, so I thought I was staying in luxury accommodation when I was shown my room. I've since checked what the price is, and I was blown away by how cheap it actually is! Really great decor and interior design and room layout, that feels romantic and...

This was the last stop on a 2 week trip back home for my mom, sister and I and after 9 days in Plettenberg Bay we were really looking forward to our stop in Cape Town. We'd stayed at the River Club in Plett which was great, but St Bede's surpassed that! The service on arrival was fantastic, the gentleman...

My room was vey nice and spacious. I didn't have any problems with the safe, you just need to remember the code you used or else you won't be able to open it after you lock it. TV was a bit small. Great location (about three blocks walk from the Ocean) and you can actually see the Ocean from the...

Stayed at St Bede's Terrace for the Cape Argus this year, for the first time, and what a joy. We stayed in the Atlantic apartment and felt a bit weary at first, but then after discovering the history of the apartment understood why it looked so old. The aprtments in the downstairs of the guest house was cattle stalls when...

Atlantic self-catering apartment at St. Bedes, Capetown is not to be recommended at all! "Safes" in cupboards could be easily carried away, so what's the sense of having these kind of safes then? It was a dark apartment with no style and no atmosphere. Renovation seems to have taken place at least 10 years ago. It did not feel clean,...

A group of students and I stayed at St.Bedes for three weeks and had an amazing experience. Deon was incredibly helpful and was sure to let us know where to go and how to stay safe. Everyone was nice. Upon arrival they had prepared lunch for us and for the remainder of the time were very sweet. If you are...

Negative: Arrival information (THREE locked entrances/keys & electric buzzer) to get to my self catering rooms was rushed and incomplete. Information regarding the surrounding area was vague and unhelpful. Tourists want to know specifics about: reliable bus transportation, distances between point a and point b, nearby shops, safety. Negative: Bedroom lacks basics: dresser, air conditioning/heat, chairs, reading light, small desk....

“I advise the Savannah cottage. I quite liked the one by the entrance, but it can get a tiny bit noisy with people walking past the window, and cars occasionally going by. Barely bothered me though, except people at 7am.”
