I've been staying there for approx 17 years now when I travel to Cape Town to participate in the 'Argus' Cycle tour at the beginning of March each year. Exceptionally clean and well managed by Valeisha Olivier. Rooms are on the small side but then who want to be indoors when in Cape Town?! The additions and new restaurant have...

Hotel was fine, in a similar way to Ibis hotels. If you simply need a base to explore Cape town, this hotel is a good choice. Very small rooms, small beds. Shower in bathroom was not great. A lack of necessities and niceties, only one towel each was provided, no hand towel, no bath mat, plastic cups, no fridge, no kettle....

If you can imagine being in a small, low grade cabin at sea or in an airplane cockpit, you have an idea of the Check inn experience. Everything is shiny and bright. The rooms are clean. But it becomes claustrophobic as there is no space to move around. I kept on knocking my knees on the foot of the bed,...

I was appalled with the attitude of the guy at the reception. Wanting a room for the night and was told no viewing of rooms after 17h00 Went back next morning and just the reasoning and attitude of the lady at the receptipn was not on. Arrogant staff , will never ever go there ever

Can live with the bare minimum but the overwhelming smell of urine was beyond disgusting. And then the 'late night activity' - sounded like a brothel after 12:00 - changing shifts and partners - disgusting is not the word. Mind blowing that you can actually run such a low class establishment is such an ideal location. The investors should be 'proud'...

I stay here a lot and i work in the hospitality trade myself for 16 years and i must say i was appalled with my last stay at this place.... I usually check out before 11am always and my last stay was utterly disgusting with the way the housekeeper treated us. She came to the room at 10:24 am before...

Please be careful with your posessions here. Best to avoid. Lock up ALL your belongings even if it is not worth much. My perfume disappeared and the staff's got a could not care attitude. True you get what you pay for!

A nice place, gives you a beautiful view of nearby hill and the city. From here you can easily go all directions and back without problems. But you can't invite friends, only guests are allowed in. Very excellent accommodation but No meals as of April 2015. Maybe they provide meals now, not sure.
